Yes I do. I really like outdoor activities. I usually do snowboarding in winter and last summer I firstly had experience of going surfing. Firstly it was quite difficult, however once I've got a knock of it I could stand on a board, it was very fun.

Part 1

Do you have any hobbies?

Score: 72.0

Suggestion: 全体として内容は理解できるが、文法ミスと不自然な表現が散見されます。まず“firstly”の反復や“I firstly had experience of going surfing”などは不自然なので、“I tried surfing for the first time last summer”のようにシンプルに表現しましょう。また、“once I've got a knock of it”は誤用で、“once I got the hang of it”が自然です。文を短めにまとめ、接続詞(however, once)を正しく使って論理を明確にしてください。具体的には現在形・過去形の使い分け(I usually do / I tried last summer)と冠詞・前置詞の調整に注意しましょう。

Example: I enjoy outdoor activities. I usually go snowboarding in winter. Last summer I tried surfing for the first time. It was hard at the beginning, but once I got the hang of it I could stand on the board and had a lot of fun.

Did you have any hobbies when you were a child?

Score: 70.0

Suggestion: 内容は明確ですが、語順や語法に小さな誤りがあります。“prefer to spend inside of the house”は不自然なので“I preferred staying at home”がよいです。また時制との一致に注意して“Usually I was watching movies”より“Usually I watched movies”が自然です。付加情報(with friends, snacks)を繋げるときは接続表現(for example, sometimes)を使うとより流暢に聞こえます。文の数は3〜4文程度に収め、冗長な語を避けてください。

Example: When I was a child, I preferred staying at home. I usually watched movies, sometimes on my own and sometimes with friends. We often enjoyed them with popcorn and soda.

Do you have a hobby that you've had since childhood?

Score: 68.0

Suggestion: 情報は十分だが文が長くなり過ぎて文法ミスが目立ちます。“I started to learn how to swim since I was three years old”は“since”の使い方が不適切で、“I started learning to swim when I was three”または“I have been swimming since I was three”と表現しましょう。“I usually go swimming public swimming pool for once a week”は語順と冠詞の誤りがあるため、“I usually go to a public swimming pool once a week”が正しいです。最後の感想は“it makes me feel refreshed and relaxed”のように自然な語彙を使いましょう。

Example: Yes. I have been swimming since I was three years old. Now I usually go to a public swimming pool once a week for exercise, and it makes me feel refreshed and relaxed.

Do you have the same hobbies as your family members?

Score: 60.0

Suggestion: 主旨は伝わるが多くの不自然な表現と語彙の誤用があります。“spending inside of the house”は“I prefer staying at home”のように。文頭の“I don't know. Well unfortunately”は曖昧なので“I’m afraid not”などで簡潔に始めた方がよいです。“my mother re really loves traveling abroad”はタイポと語順の誤りがあり、“my mother really loves travelling abroad and often takes me with her”が自然です。“we are like a travel bodies”は意味不明なので削除または“We often travel together”のように言い換えましょう。

Example: I’m afraid not — my family and I don’t share many hobbies because we prefer staying at home. However, my mother really loves travelling abroad, and she often takes me with her, so we often travel together.

Grammar

Present perfect/simple past confusion

× I usually do snowboarding in winter and last summer I firstly had experience of going surfing.

I usually go snowboarding in winter, and last summer I experienced surfing for the first time.

混同: 'do snowboarding' is less natural than 'go snowboarding' (verb + activity collocation). 'Last summer I firstly had experience of going surfing' mixes adverb order and tense. Use simple past 'experienced' for a finished past event and place 'for the first time' after the verb to sound natural. Suggestion: say 'I usually go snowboarding in winter. Last summer, I surfed for the first time.'

Present perfect vs simple past / verb phrase order

× Firstly it was quite difficult, however once I've got a knock of it I could stand on a board, it was very fun.

At first it was quite difficult; however, once I got the hang of it I could stand on the board, and it was a lot of fun.

時制と語順: 'Firstly' is better as 'At first'. 'I've got a knock of it' is incorrect phrase and wrong tense; use simple past 'got' and the correct idiom 'got the hang of it'. 'Could' is OK for past ability. Use 'a lot of fun' rather than 'very fun' for naturalness. Suggestion: 'At first it was quite difficult, but once I got the hang of it I could stand on the board and had a lot of fun.'

Preposition use / article and verb tense

× When I was a child, I preferred to spend inside of the house.

When I was a child, I preferred to stay inside the house.

前置詞と語彙: 'spend inside of the house' is incorrect; use 'stay inside the house' or 'spend time inside the house'. Also 'inside of' is colloquial; 'inside' or 'in' is better. Suggestion: 'I preferred to stay inside the house.'

Past continuous/simple past

× Usually I was watching movies alone or sometimes with my friends.

I usually watched movies alone or sometimes with my friends.

時制: 'Usually' with past habits typically uses simple past ('I usually watched'), not past continuous ('I was watching'). Suggestion: 'When I was a child, I usually watched movies alone or sometimes with my friends.'

Collocation and preposition

× We enjoyed them over popcorn or some sodas.

We enjoyed them with popcorn or some sodas.

前置詞の誤用: use 'with popcorn' rather than 'over popcorn'. Suggestion: 'We enjoyed the movies with popcorn or some sodas.'

Tense and preposition use / article errors

× I think swimming is one of the examples because I started to learn how to swim since I was three years old and for now I usually go swimming public swimming pool for once a week for some exercise and it brings me some refreshing and relaxed.

I think swimming is one example because I started learning to swim when I was three years old, and now I usually go swimming at a public swimming pool once a week for exercise; it makes me feel refreshed and relaxed.

時制と前置詞と語法: 'started to learn' -> 'started learning' or 'learn to swim'; use 'when I was three' instead of 'since' with past start. 'for now' -> 'now'. Need preposition 'at a public swimming pool'. 'for once a week' -> 'once a week'. 'brings me some refreshing and relaxed' is incorrect; use 'makes me feel refreshed and relaxed'. Suggestion: 'I started learning to swim when I was three, and now I go to a public pool once a week; it makes me feel refreshed and relaxed.'

Pronoun and auxiliary error / negation

× I don't know. Well unfortunately we don't have the same hobbies since my family prefers spending inside of the house.

I'm not sure. Unfortunately, we don't have the same hobbies because my family prefers staying inside the house.

語法: 'I don't know' can be 'I'm not sure' for clarity. 'since' can mean 'because' but may confuse; use 'because'. 'prefers spending inside of the house' -> 'prefers staying inside the house'. Avoid 'inside of'. Suggestion: 'I'm not sure. Unfortunately, we don't have the same hobbies because my family prefers staying inside the house.'

Pronoun and spelling / preposition

× However, my mother re really loves traveling abroad and she usually takes me to abroad with her so we are like a travel bodies.

However, my mother really loves traveling abroad and she usually takes me abroad with her, so we travel together often.

スペルと前置詞: 're' is typo. 'takes me to abroad' is wrong; say 'takes me abroad'. 'we are like a travel bodies' is ungrammatical and odd; replace with 'we travel together often' or 'we are travel companions'. Suggestion: 'My mother really loves traveling abroad and usually takes me with her, so we often travel together.'
