自行车— Part 1 評分報告

建議: Answer directly, but use the past tense because you are talking about your childhood: change “have” to “had.” You could add one specific detail, such as how often you rode it or where you went. Keep the answer concise.

範例: Yes, I had a bike when I was a child. I used to ride it around my neighborhood after school.

建議: Make the subject agree with the plural noun “bikes,” so say “they are popular.” Replace the vague phrase “bicycle roads” with a more natural expression such as “cycling paths,” and explain how they suggest cycling is popular. Avoid fillers like “uh” where possible.

範例: Yes, I think bikes are quite popular in my country. For example, there are cycling paths along the coast, and I often see people riding there, especially on weekends.

× Yes, I have a bike when I was a child.

✓ Yes, I had a bike when I was a child.

The sentence refers to a time in the past, as shown by when I was a child. Use the past-tense form had rather than the present-tense form have. Match the tense of the main verb to the past-time context.

× I guess it is popular, uh, because I see bicycle roads near the sea in my country.

✓ I guess they are popular, uh, because I see bicycle roads near the sea in my country.

The pronoun refers to bikes, which is plural, so it should be they rather than it. The verb must also agree with the plural pronoun: use are, not is. When replacing a plural noun with a pronoun, use a plural pronoun and the matching verb form.
