自行车— Part 1 評分報告

建議: Your answer is incomplete, so the examiner cannot tell whether you had a bike. Give a complete direct answer, then add one specific detail about the bike or how you used it.

範例: Yes, I did. I had a small blue bike when I was about eight, and I used to ride it around my neighborhood.

建議: You answer the question clearly, but “many bikes that are popular” is awkward; say that bikes or motorcycle brands are popular. Check the spelling of brand names, and use a linking word and punctuation to explain why you like Yamaha. Avoid “etc.” when you can give a relevant detail.

範例: Yes, absolutely. Motorcycles are very popular in my country, and brands like Yamaha and Suzuki are widely seen. I especially like Yamaha because its bikes look stylish and reliable, so owning one is a dream of mine.

× Yes, I.

✓ Yes, I did.

The answer contains a subject, I, but no verb, so it is incomplete. Since the question is in the past tense, use did to complete the short answer: Yes, I did. In similar answers, repeat the auxiliary verb from the question.

× But I like Yamaha it's my dream bike

✓ But I like Yamaha because it's my dream bike.

The original joins two complete clauses without punctuation or a linking word, creating a run-on sentence. Add because to show the reason you like Yamaha. When joining ideas, use an appropriate conjunction or separate the clauses with suitable punctuation.
