Did you have a bike when you were a child?
考生
Yes, I have a bike going with the child and I think I have the first bike when I was seven years old. At last time I don't really know how to ride a bike, but my parents just bought me a bike and they hope that I can learn a lot from these little sports. And because of it, I learned a lot from the balance. And then I'm not good at sport at all, but I just do my best, try my best and then now.

Do you think bikes are popular in your country?
考生
Not at all. I think because of the motorcycle is more convenience here. So not not all of the people would like to ride a bike ride. Like my friends, they are living in the big city and they don't really know how to ride the bike. Even when they just grow up, grow up as an adult, they don't think bike is usual for them. So that's why they don't ride bike.
Did you have a bike when you were a child?
Yes. I had my first bike when I was seven. My parents bought it for me because they wanted me to learn balance and get some exercise. At first I couldn’t ride well, but I practiced a lot and gradually improved.
Do you think bikes are popular in your country?
注意词汇搭配(convenient not convenience),用连词(for example, because)来连接原因和例子。
Bicycles are not very popular in my country nowadays. Because motorcycles and cars are more convenient in cities, many people prefer them. For example, most of my friends who live in big cities never learned to ride a bike and think it’s not practical for daily commuting.
× Yes, I have a bike going with the child and I think I have the first bike when I was seven years old.
✓ Yes, I had a bike when I was a child. I think I got my first bike when I was seven years old.
原句中使用“have” (现在时)与描述过去经历“when I was seven years old”时态不匹配,应使用过去时“had”和“got”。
× At last time I don't really know how to ride a bike, but my parents just bought me a bike and they hope that I can learn a lot from these little sports.
✓ At first I didn't really know how to ride a bike, but my parents bought me one and they hoped I could learn a lot from this little sport.
“just bought me a bike”在叙述过去事件时用过去式“bought”。“hope that I can”应为过去时“hoped I could”。“little sports”搭配不自然,应改为“this little sport”或直接“riding”。
× And because of it, I learned a lot from the balance.
✓ Because of that, I learned a lot about balance.
原句“learned a lot from the balance”搭配不自然,英语中常说“learned about balance”或“improved my balance”。建议用“learned a lot about balance”或“improved my balance”。
× And then I'm not good at sport at all, but I just do my best, try my best and then now.
✓ I wasn't good at sports at all, but I did my best to try, and now I can do better.
最后想表达现在情况应用现在时,重写为“now I can do better”。
× Not at all. I think because of the motorcycle is more convenience here.
✓ Not really. I think motorcycles are more convenient here.
原句“because of the motorcycle is more convenience”结构混乱。“because of”后应接名词短语(e.g. 'motorcycles'),但句中同时出现从句结构,应改为简单句“motorcycles are more convenient”。
× So not not all of the people would like to ride a bike ride.
✓ So not all people would like to ride a bike.
原句有重复“not not”,且“all of the people”可简化为“all people”或“all of the people”。
× Like my friends, they are living in the big city and they don't really know how to ride the bike.
✓ My friends live in the big city and they don't really know how to ride a bike.
“ride the bike”用冠词不当,谈一般技能用“ride a bike”。
× Even when they just grow up, grow up as an adult, they don't think bike is usual for them.
✓ Even when they grow up and become adults, they don't think biking is usual for them.
原句“just grow up, grow up as an adult”重复且口语化。 “bike is usual for them”表达不自然,改为“biking is usual for them”或“a bike is usual for them”。
× So that's why they don't ride bike.
✓ So that's why they don't ride bikes.
