不过，后半句的“writing”与自行车话题不符，可能是想说“riding”，而且“I'm very afraid of...”

Yes, I got my first bike when I started primary school. My father bought it for me to help me improve my balance, although I was a little afraid of riding it at first.

“if you want to get anywhere”表达较笼统，可以具体说明它们适合通勤或长距离出行。

Not really. In my country, electric bikes are more popular than traditional bicycles because they’re faster and more convenient for commuting, especially over longer distances.

× I don't think so. I think the electric bike is more popular than traditional bike in my country, since the electric bike is more convenient and uh faster than the traditional bike if you want to get anywhere.

✓ I don't think so. I think electric bikes are more popular than traditional bikes in my country, since electric bikes are more convenient and faster than traditional bikes if you want to get anywhere.
