Did you have a bike when you were a child?
考生
Umm, I did have a bike when I was a kid. Actually I had like a three wheel bike. So it was one of those bikes where you could put some groceries or like things in the back and that was made out of like a 2 wheel at the back and like someone could actually sit there. I normally place my dog there and I would sit at the front and I would be the one like obviously cycling, but she would be behind me, sitting behind me in the little basket. And yeah, that was my bike.

Do you think bikes are popular in your country?

So I'm talking about, I'm going to be talking about my country in the case of Thailand, because I grew up there. So I would say the bikes are not that popular in Thailand just because in Thailand we have these huge, very long roads that are normally that normally have like cars would go on them. So we don't really have places for bikes to go on like hikes or, or, or trips just because or expeditions just because it's not as.

分数: 74.0建议: Clarifiez et structurez votre réponse en commençant par une phrase thématique claire, puis ajoutez deux ou trois détails précis sans répétitions. Évitez les hésitations et les mots de remplissage (“like”, “um”). Utilisez des mots de liaison courts si nécessaire pour rendre le récit cohérent (for example, then, so). Précisez des détails concrets (couleur, âge, où vous l’utilisiez) pour enrichir le contenu et démontrer un vocabulaire varié.
示例: Yes, I had a tricycle when I was a child. It had a small cargo rack at the back where I used to put my dog when we went for short rides. I often rode it around my neighborhood when I was about seven, and I remember it was bright blue and a little rusty by the summer. Overall, I loved taking it to the park because it was sturdy and easy to control.
Do you think bikes are popular in your country?
分数: 60.0建议: Commencez par une réponse directe et claire, puis fournissez des raisons spécifiques en évitant la répétition et les hésitations. Utilisez des connecteurs logiques (for example, because, however) et donnez un exemple ou une comparaison concrète (p. ex. infrastructure, sécurité, météo). Enrichissez le vocabulaire avec termes précis (infrastructure, bike lanes, traffic).
示例: I don’t think bicycles are very popular in Thailand. Because many main roads are designed for cars and there are few dedicated bike lanes, cycling is often considered unsafe. For example, in my city most commuters prefer motorbikes or cars due to heavy traffic and hot weather, so you rarely see people cycling for long journeys.
× Umm, I did have a bike when I was a kid.
✓ Umm, I had a bike when I was a kid.
The student used the auxiliary 'did' with a positive past-tense statement. In simple past affirmative sentences you should use the past form of the verb alone (had), not 'did have'. Suggestion: use 'I had' for straightforward past statements.
× Actually I had like a three wheel bike.
✓ Actually I had a three-wheel bike.
The compound noun 'three-wheel' should be hyphenated as a modifier and 'three-wheel' describes the singular noun 'bike'. Also avoid 'like' as filler. Suggestion: use 'a three-wheel bike'.
× So it was one of those bikes where you could put some groceries or like things in the back and that was made out of like a 2 wheel at the back and like someone could actually sit there.
✓ It was one of those bikes where you could put groceries or other things in the back; it had two wheels at the rear and someone could actually sit there.
Preposition and phrasing are awkward: 'in the back' is fine but 'made out of like a 2 wheel at the back' is incorrect. Use 'had two wheels at the rear' to describe structure and 'in the back' or 'at the back' for location. Also remove filler 'like' and use 'other things' for clarity.
× I normally place my dog there and I would sit at the front and I would be the one like obviously cycling, but she would be behind me, sitting behind me in the little basket.
✓ I normally placed my dog there and I sat at the front and did the cycling, while she sat behind me in the little basket.
Tense consistency: the narrative is past, so use past verbs ('placed', 'sat', 'did') rather than present/conditional 'place' and 'would'. Also avoid repetitive 'behind me'. Use clear subject reference; 'she' is acceptable if context is clear (dog pronoun), but maintain past tense throughout.
× And yeah, that was my bike.
✓ And yeah, that was my bike.
This sentence is correct; it uses simple past appropriately to refer to a past possession. No change needed.
× So I'm talking about, I'm going to be talking about my country in the case of Thailand, because I grew up there.
✓ I'm going to talk about my country, Thailand, because I grew up there.
Avoid redundant progressive forms. Use 'I'm going to talk' rather than 'I'm going to be talking' for a simple future intention. Also simplify 'in the case of Thailand' to 'Thailand' for natural phrasing.
× So I would say the bikes are not that popular in Thailand just because in Thailand we have these huge, very long roads that are normally that normally have like cars would go on them.
✓ I would say bikes are not very popular in Thailand because we have very wide, long roads that are normally used by cars.
Sentence is ungrammatical and repetitive ('normally that normally', 'have like cars would go on them'). Restructure to clear subject-verb-object order: 'roads that are normally used by cars'. Remove fillers like 'like' and redundant words.
× So we don't really have places for bikes to go on like hikes or, or, or trips just because or expeditions just because it's not as.
✓ So we don't really have places for bikes to go on trips or excursions because the infrastructure isn't suitable.
Preposition and word choice errors: 'places for bikes to go on hikes' is odd; use 'places for bike trips' or 'bike paths'. Remove repeated fillers and finish the sentence with a clear reason. 'It's not as' is incomplete; replace with 'the infrastructure isn't suitable' for clarity and grammatical completeness.
