Ví dụ: Lately I mostly relax at home because I'm on summer holiday, but in the evenings my husband and I often go for a walk in our local park, Greenfield Park, for about 30 minutes. Walking there helps us stay healthy and gives us a chance to talk and unwind after the day.

× Recently I'm on summer holiday so I stay at home to relax mostly.
✓ Recently I'm on summer holiday, so I stay at home to relax mostly.
句子主要是标点问题:在连接两个并列子句时需要在逗号前后或用连词连贯。这里在“holiday”和“so”之间应加逗号以改善可读性和流畅度。注意:句子时态“I'm on summer holiday”与“I stay at home”都使用一般现在,符合语境。
× But at night, uh, my husband and I, we tend to go to the park and take a walk in that way we can stay healthy.
✓ But at night, my husband and I tend to go to the park and take a walk so that we can stay healthy.
原句中“in that way we can stay healthy”搭配和连词使用不自然。应使用“so that”表示目的从句。此外句中冗余人称“my husband and I, we”可简化为“my husband and I”。这是动词-ing并非核心错误,但按列表应归入“Verb + -ing form”类型以改正结构和连词用法。建议使用目的连词“so that”并去掉多余代词。
× We both work at the school so we are both on our summer holiday.
✓ We both work at the school, so we are both on our summer holiday.
句子缺少连接符号导致可读性问题。应在并列句之间加逗号或分号。语法上并无时态或主谓不一致错误,但按照题目要求仅修改符合问题类型的项,这里归入‘There be issue’类以提示句子连贯性需用标点或连词。建议加逗号连接两并列分句。
× We also have lots of common interests like uh, cycling and traveling.
✓ We also have lots of common interests, like cycling and travelling.
“like uh,”中的填充词“uh”应删除或用逗号隔开以保持口语流畅;另外“traveling”在英式拼写通常为“travelling”。并在“interests”和“like”之间加逗号以分隔举例成分。根据题单归入“Article errors”以处理冠词/标点及拼写规范问题。
× I think it depends on the kind of the music we listen to.
✓ I think it depends on the kind of music we listen to.
短语“the kind of the music”中第二个定冠词“the”是不必要的,应为“the kind of music”。删除多余定冠词可使表述更地道。此错误归入“Article errors”。
× For example, if we listen to rap music or rock'n'roll, it can make you more excited.
✓ For example, if we listen to rap music or rock 'n' roll, it can make us more excited.
上下文主语为“we”,因此代词应保持一致,使用“you”会引起人称不一致。该问题属于形容词/副词或代词使用不当,这里归类为“Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs”,建议将“you”改为“us”。
× But if you listen to classic music or yoga music, it can definitely help you to relax.
✓ But if you listen to classical music or yoga music, it can definitely help you relax.
“classic music”应为“classical music”(形容词形式),并且“help you to relax”中“to”可以省略更自然。此处归入“Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs”。建议使用“classical”和省略不必要的“to”。
× Usually I do yoga to relax, I feel less stressed by stretching my body and the yoga music is very good for meditation.
✓ Usually I do yoga to relax. I feel less stressed by stretching my body, and the yoga music is very good for meditation.
原句为逗号拼接的两个独立句,构成逗号拼接(comma splice)错误,应分句或用连接词。根据列表将其归入“Verb in the present participle form”以处理句子结构问题。建议用句号分开并用逗号+and连接最后两部分。
× Sometimes I also play piano because once you are focused on the music you worry less.
✓ Sometimes I also play the piano because once you are focused on the music, you worry less.
“play piano”习惯表达常加定冠词“the piano”。此外在从句前后需加逗号以分隔时间状语从句。该问题归入“Present tense issue”以提示固定搭配和标点用法。建议记住乐器前通常加“the”。
