Bike— Part 1 Báo cáo

Gợi ý: This does not answer the examiner's question; it simply repeats it and contains a grammatical error in “you're you were.” Start with a direct answer, such as “Yes, I did” or “No, I didn’t,” and then add one or two specific details about the bike or how you used it. Keep the response natural and within five sentences.

Ví dụ: Yes, I did. I had a small blue bike when I was about seven years old. I used to ride it around my neighborhood with my friends after school.

Gợi ý: You repeated the examiner's question instead of expressing your own opinion. Begin with a clear answer, such as “Yes, I think they are,” and support it with a reason and a specific example. You could mention commuting, exercise, environmental benefits, or the popularity of bike-sharing services.

Ví dụ: Yes, I think bikes are quite popular in my country, especially among young people and commuters. Many people ride them to exercise or avoid traffic, and bike-sharing services are common in large cities.

× Did you have a bike when you're you were a child?

✓ Did you have a bike when you were a child?

The phrase you're is the contraction of you are, which is present tense. Because the question asks about your childhood in the past, use the past-tense form were. Also, you're is an unnecessary repetition before you were. Use the pattern when you were a child.
