Bike— Part 1 Báo cáo

Gợi ý: Correct the tense and make your reply more natural and slightly expand with a detail. Start with a clear topic sentence (past tense), then add one supporting detail using a linking word. Keep it under five sentences. For example, say when you had it or how you used it.

Ví dụ: Yes, I had a bike when I was a child. I rode it to school and around the neighborhood almost every day, so it was very important to me.

Gợi ý: Provide a brief reason and a specific example to support your opinion, using a linking word to connect ideas. Use present tense and avoid one-word answers. Keep it under five sentences.

Ví dụ: Not really. Although some people cycle for exercise, most people prefer cars or public transport because cities are busy and cycling infrastructure is limited.

× Yes, I have a bike when I was a child.

✓ Yes, I had a bike when I was a child.

The speaker describes a past situation ('when I was a child'), so the verb should be in the past tense. Using 'have' (present simple) is inconsistent with the time reference. Use 'had' to match the past timeframe. Suggestion: match verb tense to time expressions (e.g., 'when I was' requires past tense verbs).

× No, I don't think so.

✓ No, I don't think so.

This sentence correctly uses the present simple to express the speaker's current opinion, so no correction is needed. Note: keep present simple for current beliefs or general opinions (e.g., 'I don't think so').
