Did you have a bike when you were a child?
Ví dụ: Yes, I did. I got my first bicycle when I was seven, and my parents taught me to ride it in the park. It became one of my fondest childhood memories because learning to balance by myself made me feel proud and independent.
Do you think bikes are popular in your country?
Điểm: 68.0Gợi ý: Ý tốt nhưng có nhiều lỗi ngữ pháp, phát âm không chính thức (“gonna”, “uh”), và câu thiếu liên kết rõ ràng. Bạn nên bắt đầu bằng câu chủ đề rõ ràng (Yes/No + brief reason), dùng cấu trúc ngữ pháp chính xác (e.g., 'many teenagers are interested in cycling' thay vì 'become a real sportsman') và thêm một ví dụ hoặc số liệu cụ thể nếu có. Sử dụng liên từ như 'because' hoặc 'also' để kết nối lý do và kết quả. Tránh tiếng nói thân mật quá mức trong thi IELTS.
Ví dụ: Yes, I think cycling is becoming more popular, especially among teenagers, because many view it as both a sport and a way to stay fit. For example, local cycling clubs and weekend races have grown in number, attracting young people who want to train seriously.
× I think every childhood should have a bike and it was one of my core memories since I learned how to ride a bike with my parents and I had a good time 'cause it was some accomplishment that I felt achieved and wonderful.
✓ I think every child should have a bike, and it was one of my core memories since I learned to ride with my parents; I had a great time because it felt like an accomplishment and was wonderful.
Incorrect use of noun 'childhood' instead of 'child' and awkward verb forms. Use 'learned to ride' (verb + to-infinitive) rather than 'learned how to ride a bike' for conciseness; 'felt achieved' is incorrect — use 'felt like an accomplishment' or 'I felt accomplished.' Also replace colloquial ''cause' with 'because' and simplify 'some accomplishment that I felt achieved and wonderful' to 'it felt like an accomplishment and was wonderful.' Suggestion: use 'learned to ride' and 'felt accomplished.'
× I think so a lot of teenagers nowadays are likely to become a real sportsman where they gonna try to become professional, uh, bikers.
✓ I think so; a lot of teenagers nowadays are likely to become serious athletes and try to become professional bikers.
Tense and word choice issues: 'gonna' is informal and not appropriate; replace with 'are going to' or better 'try to.' 'Real sportsman' is incorrect gender/number and register — use 'serious athletes.' Also 'where' is misused; remove it. Suggestion: use 'are likely to' + base verb and avoid slang 'gonna.'
× And nowadays it's getting real popular since it's a good exercise for your body too and get fit.
✓ Nowadays it is becoming really popular because it is good exercise for the body and helps people get fit.
Incorrect verb forms and adverb placement: 'getting real popular' should be 'becoming really popular'; use adverb 'really' before adjective 'popular.' 'Since' can mean because but 'because' is clearer. 'And get fit' lacks subject and correct verb form — use 'helps people get fit.' Suggestion: ensure subject-verb agreement and correct adverb placement.
