Do you think bikes are popular in your country?
Thí sinh
I really don't think that bikes are really, uh, popular in my country because people in my people in Turkey usually use their, uh, individual cars in the traffic. We don't have so many, uh, empty and, and green areas that we can ride a bike. So it's really limited places where we can ride their bikes free freedomly. So it's really not.
Did you have a bike when you were a child?
Điểm: 78.0Gợi ý: Cevap doğal ve duygusal açıdan iyi fakat bazı tekrarlar ve dilbilgisi hataları var. Cümleler bazen gereksizce uzun veya tekrarlayıcı (“I loved my first bike” tekrarları) görünüyor. Ayrıca “my my father bought me my first bag” gibi ifadeler düzeltilmeli; muhtemelen “bike” veya “bag” karışmış.
Ví dụ: I had a pink bike with a small basket decorated with fake flowers. My father bought it for me when I was six, and I loved riding it along the seaside promenade. It felt like the best gift because I could explore the neighborhood on my own.
Do you think bikes are popular in your country?
Điểm: 64.0Gợi ý: Cevap açık bir fikir veriyor ancak tekrarlar, dolgu kelimeleri (“uh”), yeniden eden ifadeler ve bazı dilbilgisi hataları dikkat çekiyor. Ayrıca bazı cümle parçaları karışık (“people in my people in Turkey”, “ride their bikes free freedomly”) ve kelime seçimi hatalı.
Ví dụ: No, bicycles are not very popular in Turkey. Most people prefer using private cars because cities often lack dedicated bike lanes and safe green spaces. However, I think cycling could become more common if local governments invested in bike paths and promoted cycling as a healthy alternative.
× When I was a child I had a bike with this little basket on the front and there were flowers in it and it was pink.
✓ When I was a child I had a bike with a little basket on the front; it had flowers in it and was pink.
The sentence used 'this little basket' which is acceptable but inconsistent with past narrative; changing to 'a little basket' fits general past description. Also 'and there were flowers in it and it was pink' is wordy and repetitive; combine clauses to improve clarity and maintain correct plural/singular agreement. Suggestion: keep nouns consistent and simplify coordinate clauses.
× I really loved it my my father bought me my first bag and it was really fun to ride it near the sea.
✓ I really loved it; my father bought me my first bike and it was really fun to ride near the sea.
The original has repetition 'my my', wrong noun 'bag' instead of 'bike', and a run-on structure lacking proper punctuation. Corrections: remove duplicate word, use 'bike' to match context, and separate ideas with a semicolon or period. Also drop the object after 'ride' ('ride it' unnecessary) to sound natural.
× I loved my first bike when I was a kid.
✓ I loved my first bike when I was a kid.
This sentence is already correct in past tense and needs no change. Keep simple past to describe past feelings.
× It was the most magical thing I've ever taken as a gift.
✓ It was the most magical gift I've ever received.
Use of 'taken as a gift' is incorrect; the correct verb collocation is 'receive a gift'. Also 'the most magical thing' is acceptable but 'most magical gift' is more natural.
× I really don't think that bikes are really, uh, popular in my country because people in my people in Turkey usually use their, uh, individual cars in the traffic.
✓ I don't think bikes are very popular in my country because people in Turkey usually use their own cars in traffic.
Redundant 'really' and filler 'uh' removed. 'People in my people in Turkey' is repetitive; use 'people in Turkey'. 'Individual cars' is unnatural; use 'their own cars'. Preposition 'in the traffic' should be 'in traffic'. Maintain present simple for general truths.
× We don't have so many, uh, empty and, and green areas that we can ride a bike.
✓ We don't have many open or green areas where we can ride a bike.
Avoid fillers and duplicate 'and'. 'So many' is informal and 'empty and green areas' is awkward; use 'open or green areas'. Use 'where' instead of 'that' for places. Keep quantifier 'many' with countable areas.
× So it's really limited places where we can ride their bikes free freedomly.
✓ So there are very few places where we can ride bikes freely.
Original mixes 'it's' with 'places' causing pronoun mismatch. 'Their bikes' is incorrect possessive here; use general 'bikes'. 'Free freedomly' is erroneous; correct adverb is 'freely'. Use 'there are very few places' for existence of plural locations.
× So it's really not.
✓ So it's really not common.
The fragment 'So it's really not.' is incomplete. Add 'common' to complete the idea. Maintain present simple to express general situation.
