Do you often feel tired?
Thí sinh
Occasionally, yes. I'm 32 years old now and seldom exercise so I'm not very physically fit. If I travel by plane or high speed rail for over 2 hours I feel quite worn out. I also get tired after long dog walks which is why I cycle to walk it these days.

When would you feel tired?
Thí sinh
There are quite a few moments I feel tired. Apart from traveling and walking my dog, work also wears me out. I feel exhausted as soon as I step into the workplace, particularly when I discuss tasks with my colleagues. If I need to work overtime, I will be totally drained.

What do you do when you feel tired?
Thí sinh
The most effective way for me to regain my energy is to lie down on my bed and sofa. So every time I reach a new place during a trip, I will spend the first half day resting in my hotel room. On weekdays, I grab some test food on my commute home to eat. Tiredness. Once I get back home, I take an hour long rest.
Do you often feel tired?
具体可练习用更简洁的结构和替换词汇如 “physically fit”/“out of shape”, “worn out”/“exhausted”。
Ví dụ: Occasionally. I’m 32 and a bit out of shape because I rarely exercise, so I often feel worn out after long journeys of over two hours. I also get tired after long walks with my dog, so these days I usually cycle with him instead to save energy.
When would you feel tired?
Ví dụ: I often feel tired after long journeys or walks with my dog, but work is the main cause. For example, long meetings and frequent discussions about complex tasks leave me mentally exhausted as soon as I arrive at the office, and doing overtime usually makes me completely drained.
What do you do when you feel tired?
Ví dụ: I usually lie down on the bed or sofa to regain energy. When I arrive somewhere on a trip, I spend the first half day resting in my hotel room. On weekdays I often buy a takeaway snack on my commute and then rest for about an hour after I get home.
× I also get tired after long dog walks which is why I cycle to walk it these days.
✓ I also get tired after long dog walks, which is why I cycle to walk him/the dog these days.
原句中 'cycle to walk it' 结构不自然。動詞搭配問題:應使用 'cycle to walk the dog' 或 'cycle instead of walking the dog'。另外代詞 'it' 用於指代寵物不太合適,應用 'him/her' 或明確 'the dog'。
× There are quite a few moments I feel tired.
✓ There are quite a few moments when I feel tired.
應在表示時間的名詞 'moments' 後加 'when' 來引導時間從句,形成正確的現在時描述:'moments when I feel...'。
× I feel exhausted as soon as I step into the workplace, particularly when I discuss tasks with my colleagues.
✓ I feel exhausted as soon as I step into the workplace, particularly when I am discussing tasks with my colleagues.
× If I need to work overtime, I will be totally drained.
✓ If I need to work overtime, I am totally drained.
If I need to work overtime, I am totally drained.'
× The most effective way for me to regain my energy is to lie down on my bed and sofa.
✓ The most effective way for me to regain my energy is to lie down on my bed or sofa.
× So every time I reach a new place during a trip, I will spend the first half day resting in my hotel room.
✓ So every time I reach a new place during a trip, I spend the first half-day resting in my hotel room.
× On weekdays, I grab some test food on my commute home to eat. Tiredness.
✓ On weekdays, I grab some takeaway food on my commute home to eat when I'm tired.
× I will spend the first half day resting in my hotel room.
✓ I spend the first half-day resting in my hotel room.
