Thí sinh
Yes, I think being polite is really important in our life or being polite helps us in really many things. Like for example, if we did something a mistake we said them being politely like I do that mistake, they might forgive us, but if we be if we become rude, they're not.

Điểm: 38.0Gợi ý: Improve clarity, grammar and coherence. Start with a clear topic sentence (who taught you and how), then give one or two specific supporting details using linking words. Correct tense and word choices (e.g., teach → taught, younger → younger people, don’t → do). Keep it under 4–5 concise sentences.
Ví dụ: My mother taught me to be polite when I was a child. For example, she always reminded me to say “please” and “thank you,” and she explained why we should respect older people. As a result, I learned to listen carefully and speak kindly to others, which I still try to do today.
Do you think being polite is very important?
Điểm: 42.0Gợi ý: Give a direct topic sentence, then support with a clear reason and a specific example. Use correct grammar and linking words (for example, however, because). Avoid repetition and fix pronoun/reference errors (e.g., say to them, apologize). Keep the response to 2–4 sentences.
Ví dụ: Yes, I believe politeness is very important because it helps maintain good relationships. For example, if you apologize politely after making a mistake, people are more likely to forgive you; however, rudeness often causes conflict.
× Personally, I learned to be polite from my mom as a child because she always treated me.
✓ Personally, I learned to be polite from my mom as a child because she always treated me well.
The original sentence is missing an object/complement after 'treated me'; this makes it sound incomplete. The past tense 'learned' is correct for a childhood action, but you need a word like 'well' to complete the verb 'treated'. Suggestion: add the adverb 'well' to indicate manner.
× We need to respect our elders and love our youngers because she never teach me.
✓ We need to respect our elders and love younger people because she never taught me to do otherwise.
Multiple issues: 'youngers' is not a correct noun form; use 'younger people' or 'younger ones'. The verb 'teach' should be past tense 'taught' because the teaching happened in the past. Also pronoun reference and structure is unclear; adding 'to do otherwise' clarifies that she never taught the student to be rude. According to the rule list, apply pronoun and tense corrections: replace 'youngers' and change 'teach' to 'taught'.
× We need to disrespect him or we need to be rude for them.
✓ We should not disrespect others or be rude to them.
The original sentence is confusing and uses incorrect prepositions and pronouns: 'disrespect him' and 'for them' mix singular and plural references and wrong preposition. Also modal 'need to' is awkward here; 'should not' is more natural for advice. Correct structure: negative instruction 'should not disrespect others' and use 'to' with 'be rude to them'. This fixes pronoun number and preposition errors.
× So I'm really thankful for her.
✓ So I'm really thankful to her.
While 'thankful for her' is sometimes used, when expressing gratitude directed at a person 'thankful to her' is more natural. The tense/modal is correct (present feeling about past action). Change preposition 'for' to 'to' for clearer expression of gratitude toward a person.
× Yes, I think being polite is really important in our life or being polite helps us in really many things.
✓ Yes, I think being polite is really important in our lives and helps us in many ways.
Problems: 'in our life' should be plural 'in our lives' for general statements. The phrase 'or being polite helps us in really many things' is ungrammatical and awkward; use conjunction 'and' and 'many ways' instead of 'many things'. Present simple tense is appropriate; adjust nouns and phrasing for natural usage.
× Like for example, if we did something a mistake we said them being politely like I do that mistake, they might forgive us, but if we be if we become rude, they're not.
✓ For example, if we make a mistake and speak to others politely, they might forgive us, but if we become rude, they might not.
Multiple errors: 'did something a mistake' is incorrect—use 'make a mistake' (present simple for general truth). 'We said them being politely' mixes tense and structure; use 'speak to others politely' or 'address them politely'. 'I do that mistake' is incorrect phrasing and unnecessary. 'They're not' is unclear; use 'they might not' to parallel 'they might forgive us'. Overall, keep present simple for general statements, correct verb collocations ('make a mistake', 'speak to someone politely'), and fix modal consistency ('might').
