Did you like going to parks as a child?
Điểm: 68.0Gợi ý: You answered directly and gave reasons, which is good. To improve, make the response more concise and natural: start with a clear topic sentence, then give one or two specific supporting details. Avoid repetition (e.g. "wasn't really a big fan" and "preferred being at home" convey the same idea) and correct small grammatical issues ("since I did not like how hot the weather is" → "because I didn't like the heat").
Ví dụ: Not really. I didn't go to parks much as a child because there weren't any near my home, and I preferred staying indoors since I couldn't stand the heat. For example, on summer afternoons I usually stayed inside to read or play video games.
Do you still like going to parks now?
Điểm: 60.0Gợi ý: Your answer communicates change and personal feeling, but it is repetitive and a bit long. Use a clear topic sentence, then one or two specific supporting details with linking words (e.g. "because", "so", "for example"). Reduce repeated phrases like "now" and "I would". Also correct minor fluency issues: "I find parks very soothing" is good—build one concise supporting example.
Ví dụ: Yes. I've changed a lot since childhood and now I find parks very soothing because there's one near my house. For example, I often take a 30-minute walk there and sometimes sit on a bench to read, which helps me relax after work.
Would you like to see more parks in your city?
Điểm: 64.0Gợi ý: Good direct answer and reason. Improve by tightening the structure: give a clear topic sentence, use linking words to connect ideas, and add a specific suggestion or example. Avoid vague phrases like "one park or two" — be specific about benefits or where parks are needed. Also correct small errors ("on in my city").
Ví dụ: Yes, I'd like more parks in my city because it gets very hot and green spaces provide shade and places to relax. For instance, adding small pocket parks in residential neighborhoods would give people a nearby place to sit and cool down during summer.
Are there any parks you want to go to in the future?
Điểm: 58.0Gợi ý: You named a clear example but your answer is repetitive and slightly confusing (you say you went there already but also that you want to go in the future). Clarify whether you plan to return and give a concise reason with one specific detail. Avoid repeating the park name and correct small hesitations/redundancy.
Ví dụ: I'd love to visit Central Park in New York again because it's so large and varied. For example, I'd like to explore the Ramble and take a boat ride on the lake since I enjoyed those areas when I visited a few years ago.
× No, I wasn't really a big fan of parks when I was a child because there weren't any parks near my house and I preferred being at home more since I did not like how hot the weather is outside.
✓ No, I wasn't really a big fan of parks when I was a child because there weren't any parks near my house and I preferred being at home more since I did not like how hot the weather was outside.
Problem: tense consistency (Present tense used incorrectly within a past context). The clause 'I did not like how hot the weather is outside' refers to a past time ('when I was a child'), so the verb 'is' should be in the past tense 'was' to match the rest of the sentence. Suggestion: Keep verbs in the same time frame when describing past situations. Use 'was' for the weather in that past context.
× Now I have a different experience compared to when I was a child because I find parks very soothing.
✓ Now I have a different experience compared to when I was a child because I find parks very soothing.
No grammatical correction needed that matches the listed problem types; sentence is grammatically correct. It uses present tense appropriately to describe current feelings. Suggestion: None needed.
× So now I love going outside and just taking a walk because I now I have a park near my house so I can just walk and I would go there and I would just sit there and think it's very comforting.
✓ So now I love going outside and just taking a walk because I have a park near my house, so I can walk there and sit and think; it's very comforting.
Problems corrected: repeated words and awkward modal phrasing; tense and modal consistency. 'I now I have' is a repetition and should be 'I have'. 'So I can just walk and I would go there and I would just sit there' mixes present ability ('can walk') with conditional/modal 'would' unnecessarily. Use simple present for habitual actions: 'I can walk there and sit and think.' Suggestion: Remove repetitions and use consistent present tense for routines.
× I would definitely like to see more parks on in my city and it's very hot here and one park or two would be really nice as a place to just sit down and relax.
✓ I would definitely like to see more parks in my city, and it's very hot here, so one or two more parks would be really nice as places to just sit down and relax.
Problem: incorrect preposition 'on' before 'in my city' and plural consistency. Use 'in my city' not 'on in my city.' Also 'one park or two would be really nice as a place' is awkward; better as 'one or two more parks would be really nice as places' to match plural. Suggestion: Use correct prepositions and ensure nouns and determiners agree in number.
× And more people should definitely go to parks as well.
✓ And more people should definitely go to parks as well.
Sentence is grammatically correct. 'Should' is a modal used appropriately. Suggestion: No change needed.
× A park that I would love to go to in the future is the park in New York, the Central Park.
✓ A park I would love to visit in the future is Central Park in New York.
Problems: wordiness and article use. 'The park in New York, the Central Park' is redundant and uses an unnecessary definite article before 'Central Park.' Use the common name 'Central Park' and 'visit' instead of 'go to' for natural phrasing. Suggestion: Use concise phrasing and correct proper noun format without 'the' before 'Central Park.'
× It's beautiful. I went there a few years ago and that's still to this very day, one of the reasons why I love going to parks so the the Central Park in New York.
✓ It's beautiful. I went there a few years ago, and to this day that's one of the reasons why I love going to parks, especially Central Park in New York.
Problems corrected: punctuation, word order, redundancy, and past tense consistency. 'That's still to this very day, one of the reasons why' is awkward; 'to this day that's one of the reasons' is clearer. Also remove duplicated 'the the' and place 'Central Park' correctly. Suggestion: Use commas to separate clauses, avoid repetition, and keep temporal phrases in natural positions.
