Would you like to see more parks in your city?
Thí sinh
I think generally my city has enough parks already, but I think they should be further from each other because now the parks are really close to each other and you have to commute a lot in order to get to a park.

Are there any parks you want to go to in the future?

There is one that I haven't tried and a lot of people tell me about it there is really fascinating. The landscape is beautiful and actually I think it's designated for dogs and dog walking and I should take my dog there sometime because I think she would really enjoy it.
Did you like going to parks as a child?
Điểm: 78.0Gợi ý: Your answer is natural and relevant, but a bit long and slightly repetitive ("just" used multiple times, and two similar ideas about freedom/stress relief). Keep it concise: start with a clear topic sentence, then add one specific supporting detail or example, using a linking word to connect ideas.
Ví dụ: Yes — I loved going to parks as a child because they felt like a free space where I could play without worry. For example, I used to spend whole afternoons building make-believe games with my friends, which helped me relax and develop social skills.
Do you still like going to parks now?
Điểm: 74.0Gợi ý: Good clear response but slightly repetitive ("just" repeated) and slightly informal phrasing ("not on the slides or anything"). Make your topic sentence concise, then give one specific activity and a reason, using a linking word for coherence.
Ví dụ: Yes, I still enjoy going to parks, but now I prefer quiet activities. For instance, I often read on a bench or take brisk walks there because these activities help reduce stress and improve my fitness.
Would you like to see more parks in your city?
Điểm: 65.0Gợi ý: Idea is relevant but the reasoning is unclear and contradictory: you say parks are "close to each other" then claim "you have to commute a lot". Clarify your point and provide a specific reason or example. Use a linking word to contrast views if needed.
Ví dụ: Generally, I think the city has enough parks, but I would prefer them to be better distributed. For example, many parks are clustered downtown, so residents in outer neighborhoods still have to travel far; spreading parks more evenly would make them more accessible for everyone.
Are there any parks you want to go to in the future?
Điểm: 72.0Gợi ý: Good to mention a specific park and reason, but the answer is slightly disorganized and has minor grammar issues. Start with a clear topic sentence, then give two concise supporting details (landscape and dog-friendly), linked with a connecting word.
Ví dụ: Yes — there is one park I haven't visited yet that many people recommend. It has beautiful scenery and a designated dog area, so I plan to take my dog there soon because she would enjoy running off-leash.
× I definitely liked going to parks as a child since I could just be myself and be stress free and just not care about the world.
✓ I definitely liked going to parks as a child since I could just be myself, be stress-free, and not care about the world.
The sentence mostly uses past tense correctly but contains punctuation and adjective/adverb form issues: 'stress free' should be hyphenated as the compound adjective 'stress-free' when modifying 'be', and the list needs parallel structure and commas for clarity. Suggest using commas and consistent verb forms in the list (be myself, be stress-free, and not care).
× And I think it's also crucial for children to have this time that they can just play and be with their friends at the park.
✓ I think it is also crucial for children to have time when they can just play and be with their friends at the park.
The phrase 'this time that they can' is wordy and 'this time' is unnecessary. Use 'time when' for correctness. Also avoid starting a sentence with 'And' in formal speech and use 'it is' instead of contraction for clarity, though contractions are acceptable in speaking. Suggest simplifying to 'time when.'
× Yes I do still like going to the parks however I'm not on the slides or anything.
✓ Yes, I still like going to parks; however, I'm not on the slides or anything.
'Going to the parks' implies specific parks; in general use 'going to parks' or 'going to the park' for general preference. Also punctuation is needed: add commas or a semicolon before 'however' for correct sentence separation. Suggest removing 'the' for general meaning and add appropriate punctuation.
× I tend to like more reading and just going for a walk and just having this time for my mental health and mental and physical well-being.
✓ I tend to prefer reading, going for walks, and having time for my mental and physical well-being.
Original has awkward word order 'like more reading' and repetitive 'just'. Use 'prefer' for clearer comparison and make the items parallel: 'reading, going for walks, and having time.' Also combine 'mental and physical well-being' rather than repeating 'mental.'
× I think generally my city has enough parks already, but I think they should be further from each other because now the parks are really close to each other and you have to commute a lot in order to get to a park.
✓ I think my city generally has enough parks already, but they should be farther apart because the parks are very close to each other and you usually have to commute a lot to get to one.
Use 'farther apart' (distance) instead of 'further from each other.' The phrase 'commute a lot in order to get to a park' is clumsy; simplify to 'commute a lot to get to one.' Also streamline repetition ('each other'). Suggest 'farther apart' and concise phrasing.
× There is one that I haven't tried and a lot of people tell me about it there is really fascinating.
✓ There is one that I haven't tried and that a lot of people tell me about; it is really fascinating.
Original runs two clauses together without correct connectors or punctuation. 'There is one that I haven't tried and a lot of people tell me about it there is really fascinating' is ungrammatical. Use a relative clause 'that a lot of people tell me about' and separate the comment 'it is really fascinating' with a semicolon or full stop. Suggest restructuring into two clear clauses.
× The landscape is beautiful and actually I think it's designated for dogs and dog walking and I should take my dog there sometime because I think she would really enjoy it.
✓ The landscape is beautiful, and actually I think it's designated for dogs and dog walking, so I should take my dog there sometime because I think she would really enjoy it.
Sentence needs commas to separate ideas and a clearer connector between 'designated for dogs' and 'I should take my dog there,' so use 'so' for cause-effect. Also keep parallel structure and punctuation. Suggest adding commas and 'so' to clarify the relationship.
