可加入连接词如“because”或“so”使逻辑更连贯,并使用更地道的词汇如“accustomed to”或“prefer typing for speed and convenience”。
Ví dụ: I prefer typing to handwriting because it's faster and more convenient for me. I've been using computers for four or five years, so I'm accustomed to typing and rarely write by hand anymore.
Do you type on a desktop or laptop keyboard every day?
Ví dụ: I use a laptop keyboard every day because it's much more portable than a desktop. I can take it with me to the train or a café and finish work on the go.
When did you learn how to type on a keyboard?
注意用词:用“type”比“tap”更地道,描述评分制度时可用“it was part of our grade”更自然。
Ví dụ: I learned to type in seventh grade during our computer class, which was part of our grade. We practiced typing exercises regularly and were given scores for accuracy and speed.
How do you improve your typing?
Ví dụ: Mostly I improve my typing through regular practice: I type every day and use online exercises to work on speed and accuracy, spending about 20 minutes daily on drills.
× I prefer typing because I haven't written by hand for a long time.
✓ I prefer typing because I haven't written by hand for a long time.
× I've been using a computer for about four or five years now, so during that time I've always been typing.
✓ I've been using a computer for about four or five years now, so during that time I've always typed.
× It's faster and more convenient for me, and I've just got used to it, so I'm not really used to handwriting anymore.
✓ It's faster and more convenient for me, and I've just got used to it, so I'm no longer used to handwriting.
短语“not really used to handwriting anymore”在语气上有些冗余且“anymore”与“not really”叠加不自然。用“no longer used to handwriting”更简洁、地道。
× I tap on laptop keyboard every day.
✓ I tap on the laptop keyboard every day.
× I saw the taptop is more convenient.
✓ I said the laptop is more convenient.
原句写成“saw the taptop”是拼写/用词错误,应为“I said the laptop is more convenient.” 或 “I think the laptop is more convenient.”
× I can umm, carrying.
✓ I can, um, carry it.
原句“I can ... carrying.” 应改为“can carry”。
× I can carry it to everywhere, even in UMM, even on the train.
✓ I can carry it everywhere, even on the train.
短语“carry it to everywhere”中“to”多余,英语中“everywhere”不与介词“to”连用。
× I can use my laptop to type in and finish some work.
✓ I can use my laptop to type and finish some work.
动词短语“type in”通常需直接宾语(如“type in a document”),单独使用不自然。
× I think it was in 7th grade because at that time we had a computer class and we had to tap on the desktop.
✓ I think it was in 7th grade because at that time we had a computer class and we had to type on the desktop.
× It was graded.
✓ It was graded.
× We got scores for it, so I had to practice them.
✓ We got scores for it, so I had to practice.
× I think just, uh, practice.
✓ I think just, uh, practice.
× I use my laptop every day.
✓ I use my laptop every day.
× I use my laptop to type in every day, so maybe I thought that is the only way to improve my typing.
✓ I use my laptop to type every day, so maybe I thought that was the only way to improve my typing.
此外主句“maybe I thought that is the only way”时态不一致:叙述过去的想法应使用过去时“was”。
