Since my favorite food is still paella, I don't think it did change. However, it did expand. Basically, my favorite food is not only paella. For example, one of them is kangkong and fried tofu, which is also very home cooked and comforting meals.

Has your favourite food changed since you were a child?
Điểm: 70.0Gợi ý: Make the response more concise and logically organised: state clearly whether your favourite has changed, then give one specific example of an added favourite with a brief reason. Avoid repetitive phrases like "basically" and plural/singular mismatches.

× 'One of my favorite food is paella.'
✓ 'One of my favorite foods is paella.'
'food' should be plural after 'one of my' because the phrase refers to a member of a group; use 'foods'. Also maintain subject-verb agreement by keeping 'is paella.' Suggestion: use 'One of my favorite foods is...'.
× 'at the time I really love seafood and a mixture of comfort food.'
✓ 'at the time I really loved seafood and a mix of comfort foods.'
'At the time' refers to the past, so the verb should be past tense 'loved' (present tense 'love' is incorrect). 'a mixture of comfort food' should be 'a mix of comfort foods' to match plural idea and natural collocation. Suggestion: use past tense when referring to past time markers.'
× 'When I was young I really loved food that has a sweet or savory flavor because in the Philippines we usually have a lot of savory food so it kinda grows in my palate to loving those.'
✓ 'When I was young I really loved foods that had sweet or savory flavors because in the Philippines we usually have a lot of savory dishes, so my palate kind of grew to like them.'
'food' should be plural 'foods' or use 'dishes' when speaking of varieties. 'has' should be past 'had' to match past timeframe. 'grows in my palate to loving those' is ungrammatical: use 'my palate kind of grew to like them.' Also replace 'savory food' with 'savory dishes' for natural phrasing. Suggestion: match tense and use plural nouns for categories.'
× 'since most of our food is home cooked meal so we usually eat food that are according to the season.'
✓ 'since most of our meals are home-cooked, we usually eat foods that are according to the season.'
'food is home cooked meal' is incorrect: use 'meals are home-cooked'. 'food that are' requires plural 'foods' to agree with 'are'. Also add hyphen in 'home-cooked' and remove redundant 'so' when using 'since'. Suggestion: say 'most of our meals are home-cooked' and 'we usually eat foods according to the season.'
× 'For example if it's summer we usually eat more of like fresh fruits or a lighter meal.'
✓ 'For example, if it's summer we usually eat more fresh fruits or lighter meals.'
'more of like' is informal and redundant; use 'more' or 'more of' but not 'more of like'. 'a lighter meal' should be plural 'lighter meals' to match general habit. Add comma after 'For example.' Suggestion: 'we usually eat more fresh fruits or lighter meals.'
× 'I do love ice cream regarding whether it's cold or hot.'
✓ 'I do love ice cream whether it's cold or hot.'
'regarding' is not appropriate here; 'whether' alone conveys the contrast. 'regarding' is used to introduce a topic, not a conditional contrast. Suggestion: use 'whether' without 'regarding'.'
× 'And for winter I also love soups.'
✓ 'And in winter I also love soups.'
'for winter' is acceptable but 'in winter' is more natural when describing seasonal preference. 'soups' plural is fine; keep plural. Suggestion: use 'in winter' for seasonal statements.'
× 'Since my favorite food is still paella, I don't think it did change.'
✓ 'Since my favorite food is still paella, I don't think it has changed.'
The change (or lack of change) relates to the period from past to present, so present perfect 'has changed' is appropriate. 'did change' is simple past and conflicts with 'since' and current state. Suggestion: use present perfect when referring to change over time up to now.'
× 'Basically, my favorite food is not only paella.'
✓ 'Basically, my favorite food is not only paella.'
This sentence is grammatically acceptable, but slightly awkward because 'my favorite food' is singular while listing multiple favorites later. Consider 'Basically, my favorite foods are not only paella.' if you mean multiple items. Suggestion: change to plural 'favorite foods are' if listing more than one favorite.
× 'For example, one of them is kangkong and fried tofu, which is also very home cooked and comforting meals.'
✓ 'For example, some of them are kangkong and fried tofu, which are also very home-cooked and comforting meals.'
'One of them is kangkong and fried tofu' mixes singular 'one' with two items; use 'some of them are' or list separately. 'home cooked' should be hyphenated 'home-cooked'. Match plural verbs 'are' with plural nouns 'meals'. Suggestion: 'Some of them are kangkong and fried tofu, which are also very home-cooked and comforting meals.'
