Do you like reading?
需要:1) 修正时态与搭配(e.g. “I was really a huge fan” → “I have been a big fan” 或 “I used to be a big fan”);2) 改善词语选择(“so enthusiastic with” 不自然,改为“very enthusiastic about”);3) 简化第二句并控制在最多5句内;4) 增加一两处具体细节或例子以丰富内容(如提及最喜欢的作家或一本书的名字)。
Ví dụ: Yes, I enjoy reading a lot. I used to be a big fan of detective novels because I loved their intricate plots and surprising endings. These days I prefer literary fiction because it feels more thought-provoking and helps me relax after a busy day. For example, I recently enjoyed Kazuo Ishiguro’s Never Let Me Go for its subtle emotional depth.
Do you prefer to read on paper or on a screen?
Điểm: 78.0Gợi ý: 回答思路清晰且有理由支持,但存在语法与表达不准确(如“there just something special of”应改为“there’s something special about”),以及少量冗余。
Ví dụ: I prefer reading on paper because there’s something special about the tactile feel of holding a book and turning pages. It’s much less distracting than a screen, where notifications and links can break my concentration. For instance, when I read a paperback I can stay focused for an hour without interruption.
When do you need to read carefully, and when not?
需要:1) 修正动词形式和短语(e.g. “When I preparing”→“When I’m preparing”或“When I prepare”;“Missing in a single detail”→“Missing a single detail”);2) 使用连接词(e.g. “however”)对比两种阅读方式;3) 提供更具体的例子(如考试中特别注意图表或题干)。
Ví dụ: When I’m preparing for important exams, I read very carefully because missing a single detail could cost me marks. For example, I pay special attention to figures and instructions in math or science problems. However, when I browse social media I usually just skim headlines and captions to save time.
Do you prefer scanning or detailed reading?
Điểm: 66.0Gợi ý: 回答展示了偏好但存在拼写错误(“skin”→“skim”)和语法问题(“It save me”→“It saves me”),并且逻辑有些混乱(扫描阅读用于日常浏览,但又提到“like in exams”与前面矛盾)。
Ví dụ: I usually prefer skimming for daily browsing because it helps me pick up key points quickly. For instance, I skim news headlines or emails to find what’s important. But for exams or complex articles, I switch to detailed reading to understand concepts thoroughly, which takes more time but is necessary.
× From a young age I was really a huge fan of detective novels and so enthusiastic with the compelling plots.
✓ From a young age I was really a huge fan of detective novels and was so enthusiastic about the compelling plots.
原句中 “so enthusiastic with” 用法不当。 感到热情”,应为 “be enthusiastic about something”。 (I was ... and was so enthusiastic)使句子更流畅。
× Now that I'm order, my taste has shifted towards literary works which I can find more thought provoking and relaxing.
✓ Now that I'm older, my taste has shifted towards literary works which I find more thought-provoking and relaxing.
原句中 “I'm order” 是拼写错误,应为 “I'm older”。此外 “which I can find more thought provoking” 中的“can”多余,且 “thought provoking” 作复合形容词修饰名词时通常连字符连接为 “thought-provoking”。
× I think I lean towards reading on paper.
✓ I think I lean toward reading on paper.
× There just something special of the tactile experience of holding a book and turning the pages.
✓ There is just something special about the tactile experience of holding a book and turning the pages.
原句缺少系动词 “is”,并且介词搭配错误,应为 “something special about” 而不是 “of”。因此需要补上 “is” 并把 “of” 改为 “about”。建议注意存在句型 “There is/are ...”
× I find it much less distracting than studying at a screen, which allows me to really immerse myself in the content.
✓ I find it much less distracting than studying at a screen, which allows me to really immerse myself in the content.
原句中 “at a screen” 介词使用不当,应为 “on a screen”。
× When I preparing for important exams, I have to read carefully.
✓ When I am preparing for important exams, I have to read carefully.
× Missing in a single detail could lead to a costly mistake.
✓ Missing a single detail could lead to a costly mistake.
原句中 “Missing in a single detail” 结构不正确,多余介词 “in”。
× When I go through the social media, I prefer to skim to read.
✓ When I go through social media, I prefer to skim.
原句问题有两点:一是 “the social media” 冠词使用不当,通常说 “social media” 不加冠词;二是 “prefer to skim to read” 冗余且不自然,直接说 “prefer to skim” 即可。建议记住固定搭配 “go through social media” 和 “prefer to skim”。
× I tend to skin reading for daily browsing.
✓ I tend to skim read for daily browsing.
建议注意动词拼写并选择合适的短语:"tend to skim" 或 "tend to do skim reading"。
× I can get crucial information quickly like in exams or when searching for something online.
✓ I can get crucial information quickly, for example in exams or when searching for something online.
建议在列举例子时使用 "for example" 或 "such as"。
× It save me a lot of time.
✓ It saves me a lot of time.
