× Well, to the I'm not quite, uh, school bookworm because I'm always wamped with work and school assignments, so I barely get any spare time to sit down and read a whole book.
✓ Well, I'm not really a school bookworm because I'm always swamped with work and school assignments, so I barely get any spare time to sit down and read a whole book.
句子结构混乱,有多余词("to the")、词序和拼写错误("wamped" 应为 "swamped"),以及不自然的副词用法("not quite" 用在此处不如 "not really" 自然)。
× I prefer reading on paper because I'm slightly short sighted so screens make my eyes tighter very quickly.
✓ I prefer reading on paper because I'm slightly short-sighted, so screens strain my eyes very quickly.
× I find it easy to concentrate and take notes with physical book, especially when I read before bed.
✓ I find it easy to concentrate and take notes with a physical book, especially when I read before bed.
× Unfortunately, when I need to finish my school assignments, I wait very carefully because I don't want to make mistakes and I need to understand the requirements.
✓ Unfortunately, when I need to finish my school assignments, I read very carefully because I don't want to make mistakes and I need to understand the requirements.
× For example, when I write essays or solve math problems, but I'm less careful when I just skimming social media posts.
✓ For example, when I write essays or solve math problems, I'm careful, but I'm less careful when I just skim social media posts.
× Personally, I prefer detailed reading because close reading lets me for grasp background information and valuable details.
✓ Personally, I prefer detailed reading because close reading lets me grasp background information and valuable details.
× Take academic articles as in as an example.
✓ Take academic articles as an example.
应保留 "as an example" 或 "for example"。
× I have to examine their methodology throughout me.
✓ I have to examine their methodology throughout.
× I only skim when I just want a quick review.
✓ I only skim when I just want a quick review.
