Thí sinh
Well, I think that depends on situation. For example, when I was learning in a lecture, maybe we should bring our, umm, academic books to the class. That time I will choose the paper version because we can take some notes, uh, on the paper. I think that's, uh, convenient. Then. Then a book on the. Screen. But if I just reading some novels just for fun, I will choose the screen because I think this version is really cheaper than the paper books.

Good job! Improvement suggestions: - 句子结构需要更准确,避免重复和混乱(例如 “I can't take we can't ignore any of this book” 意思不清)。 - 注意时态和搭配:用 need to read carefully / don't need to read carefully;避免用 “Not used to reading very carefully” 这种与上下文不一致的表达。 Improved example: - For important or study-related material, I need to read very carefully, often word by word, because I must understand every detail and remember the facts.

Good job! Improvement suggestions: - 句子要更简洁,避免重复和填充词(例如 “uh”, “that's that's fine”)。 - 注意动词形式和时态:把 "should reading" 改成 "should read" 或 "need to read";把 "know the roughly meaning" 改成 "get the rough meaning" 或 "understand the general idea"。
Do you like reading?
但需要改进的地方有:1) 句子结构不够准确,存在重复和语法错误(例如 'Are in that time'、'in through the website'、多次重复词);2) 流利度受“uh”“feel feel”等填充词和重复影响,建议把想法组织成2–3句,每句一个主旨;3) 时态和搭配需修正(例如用 'I liked reading' 或 'I read',用 'romance novels were very popular');4) 使用更多具体细节和连接词(e.g. 'when I was in high school, I often read...',或说明为什么喜欢这样的小说)。
Ví dụ: Yes, I enjoy reading, but I prefer light novels and popular fiction to serious literature. When I was in high school in China, romance novels were very popular online, and I often read them on websites because they were entertaining and helped me relax after studying.
Do you prefer to read on paper or on a screen?
需要改进:1) 流利度和语句连贯性:避免频繁停顿和填充词(umm, uh, then),把句子合并成2–3句完整表达;2) 语法与搭配需修正(如 'when I was learning in a lecture' 应为 'when I'm attending a lecture' 或 'during lectures';'I will choose' 改为 'I choose' 或 'I prefer');3) 用连接词增强逻辑(for example, because, however);4) 增加更具体细节(例如提到 note-taking, eye strain, portability)。
Ví dụ: It depends on the situation. For lectures or study materials I prefer paper books because they are easier to annotate and review, but for casual reading I usually use a screen because e-books are cheaper and more portable.
When do you need to read carefully, and when not?
改进之处:1) 句子表达应更简洁准确,避免语句混淆或不完整;2) 注意用词搭配与时态(use 'need to read carefully' / 'don't need to read carefully'),不要使用与语境不符的表达;3) 增加连接词使逻辑更顺畅(for example, therefore, whereas),并加入一两个具体例子(e.g. textbooks vs. magazines)以增强说服力。
Ví dụ: For study-related or official documents I need to read carefully, often word by word, because I must understand all the details. For leisure reading like magazines or novels, I usually skim to get the general idea and enjoy the story without focusing on every sentence.
Do you prefer scanning or detailed reading?
Ví dụ: I usually choose my reading strategy based on the material: for important work or academic documents I read in detail to make sure I don't miss anything, whereas for novels or news articles I tend to skim to get the general idea quickly.
× Yes, I think I really like reading books, but I'm not really interested in the serious literature.
✓ Yes, I really like reading books, but I'm not very interested in serious literature.
原句中“I'm not really interested in the serious literature”定冠词“the”是不必要的,且“really”和“not really interested”重复语气略显笨拙。将其改为“not very interested in serious literature”更自然、简洁。
× I just like reading some novels or the interesting books just for fun, not for uh, learning something through these books.
✓ I just like reading novels or other interesting books for fun, not to learn from them.
原句中"some novels or the interesting books"搭配不自然,且“just for fun, not for uh, learning something through these books”表达冗长且语法不准确。将结构简化为“novels or other interesting books for fun, not to learn from them”更符合英语表达习惯。
× For example, when I was a child in the high school, the romantic novels in China is really popular.
✓ For example, when I was in high school, romantic novels in China were really popular.
原句“when I was a child in the high school”混用不当,应为“when I was in high school”。
× Are in that time and I really like reading the romantic novels in through the website and I just feel feel like really interesting and fancy.
✓ At that time I really liked reading romantic novels online; I found them very interesting and fanciful.
原句断裂且包含语序和词汇错误(“Are in that time”“in through the website”“feel feel like”)。改为“At that time I really liked reading romantic novels online; I found them very interesting and fanciful.”
× Well, I think that depends on situation.
✓ Well, I think that depends on the situation.
原句缺少定冠词“the”,在固定表达中应为“depends on the situation”。
× For example, when I was learning in a lecture, maybe we should bring our, umm, academic books to the class.
✓ For example, during lectures we should bring our academic books to class.
原句“when I was learning in a lecture”不自然,且“to the class”可简化为“to class”。
× That time I will choose the paper version because we can take some notes, uh, on the paper.
✓ At those times I would choose the paper version because I can take notes on paper.
原句人称和时态混乱(“That time I will choose”与前面讲过去或一般情况不对应),建议用情态“would”或一般现在“I choose”根据语境。
× I think that's, uh, convenient. Then. Then a book on the. Screen.
✓ I think that's convenient. But for reading novels I prefer reading on a screen.
Then a book on the. Screen.”)。
× But if I just reading some novels just for fun, I will choose the screen because I think this version is really cheaper than the paper books.
✓ But if I'm just reading novels for fun, I will choose a screen because I think this option is much cheaper than paper books.
原句动词形式错误(“if I just reading”应为“if I'm just reading”或“if I just read”),并且“this version is really cheaper”比较级搭配不当,改为“much cheaper”并用“option”或“format”更自然。
