Do you like reading?
Ví dụ: Yes, I enjoy reading because it broadens my horizons and helps me learn about different cultures. For example, I often read historical fiction and travel essays, which give me vivid impressions of other countries. If I had more time, I would explore more non-fiction books about world history.
Do you prefer to read on paper or on a screen?
避免语法错误(眼睛表达为“my eyesight is poor”或“it hurts my eyes”)。
Ví dụ: I prefer reading on paper because screens strain my eyes and make them feel tired after a short time. For that reason, I usually choose physical books when I plan to read for long periods.
When do you need to read carefully, and when not?
注意用词准确(“songs like novel”应改为“novels or light reading”)。
Ví dụ: I read carefully when the material is important, for example exam rules, contracts, or academic articles, because mistakes could have serious consequences. In contrast, I skim novels or light magazines for enjoyment and relaxation.

× Yes, reading can not only broaden my horizon but also enable me to learn more about the cultures from different countries.
✓ Yes, reading can not only broaden my horizons but also enable me to help me learn more about the cultures of different countries.
2) “enable me to learn” 可更自然地改为“enable me to help me learn” 或直接“help me learn”,但不要重复“enable”和“help”二选其一更自然。最后“the cultures from different countries” 更地道的表达是“the cultures of different countries”(of 表示归属/来源)。
× So if I have more time for readings, I will prefer to read different kinds of books and umm, like watching the movies.
✓ So if I have more time for reading, I would prefer to read different kinds of books and, um, watch movies.
× I prefer to, uh, read on a book to read on the paper because I have the eyesight.
✓ I prefer to read a book on paper because of my eyesight.
1) “read on a book to read on the paper” 結構混亂,重複且介詞用錯(應為 read a book on paper 或 read on paper),屬於時態/句子結構與介詞混用問題,但依列表只修正為現在時表達自然。2) “because I have the eyesight” 英語表達不當,應為 because of my eyesight 表示『因為我的視力(原因)』。建議:簡化為“I prefer to read a book on paper because of my eyesight.”
× So when I read the on the screen, maybe it will like, uh, make my eyesight become more, see, uh, becomes more serious.
✓ So when I read on the screen, it may make my eyesight worse.
1) “read the on the screen” 介詞順序錯誤,應為 read on the screen;屬於介系詞使用錯誤。2) “make my eyesight become more...becomes more serious” 冗長且語法不正確,應用形容詞 worse 或 more serious,但更簡潔為 worse。建議:說“When I read on the screen, it may make my eyesight worse.”
× So, umm, based on that, I would like to like, uh, reach on the paper so that they could protect my eyes.
✓ So, based on that, I would like to read on paper so that it can protect my eyes.
原句問題:1) “reach on the paper” 拼写错误且用词错误,應為 read on paper(读纸质书),屬於現在時與動詞用法問題。2) “they could protect my eyes” 主語不明,應用 it 或 books/paper;若指 reading on paper,應用 it can 或 reading on paper can protect my eyes。建議:改為“read on paper so that it can protect my eyes.”
× When I need to uh like read some umm something which is really umm important for me for example like the umm exams rules or sometimes the umm which is truly important for me, I need to read it in a careful way.
✓ When I need to read something that is really important to me, for example exam rules or other important documents, I need to read them carefully.
2) “the umm exams rules” 應為 exam rules(不加復數所有格),且代詞一致性錯誤:something → them(指複數的 rules/documents)。3) “in a careful way” 常用副詞 carefully 更自然。
× However, when I read songs like novel or some somethings that make me happy, I just read it in a slowly way.
✓ However, when I read novels or other things that make me happy, I just read them slowly.
原句問題:1) “songs like novel” 用詞錯誤,應為 novels or something similar;2) “some somethings” 冗餘且不正確;3) “read it” 與前文複數不一致,應為 read them;4) “in a slowly way” 副詞用法錯誤,應為 slowly(不加 in a ... way)。 建議:改為“read novels or other things... I just read them slowly.”
× I prefer skiing because I'm not truly careful girl.
✓ I prefer skimming because I'm not a very careful person.
2) “I'm not truly careful girl” 文法錯誤,缺少冠詞且用詞不當,應為 I'm not a very careful person 或 I'm not very careful。建議:改為“I prefer skimming because I'm not a very careful person.”
× So when I read some things I do not have, I'm, I'm not just patient too.
✓ So when I read some things I don't have the patience; I'm not patient at all.
1) “I do not have, I'm, I'm not just patient too” 結構混亂且詞語搭配錯誤,應為 I don't have the patience(固定搭配),屬於主謂一致與句子結構錯誤。2) “not just patient too” 與否定程度表達不當,改為 I'm not patient at all 更自然。
× I'm not patient at all to read all of them. So I will, uh, like take the scanning for myself to reading all the books.
✓ I'm not patient enough to read them all, so I usually scan them instead of reading every book in detail.
1) “not patient at all to read all of them” 不自然,應為 not patient enough to do sth. 2) “take the scanning for myself to reading all the books” 結構和詞類錯誤,“scan” 為動詞,應用 scan them 或 do skimming/ scanning, not take the scanning for myself。 建議:改為“not patient enough... so I usually scan them instead of reading every book in detail.”
