Do you have any hobbies?
Ví dụ: I have several hobbies, but I am most keen on listening to music. After a long day at school, listening to music helps me relax, and it also helps me concentrate when I do homework.
Did you have any hobbies when you were a child?
Điểm: 68.0Gợi ý: Sử dụng thì quá khứ nhất quán (I had), cải thiện ngữ pháp số nhiều/số ít (places), và làm câu rõ ràng hơn bằng một câu chủ đề + 1-2 chi tiết cụ thể. Dùng từ nối như 'because' và 'and' hợp lý; thêm ví dụ cụ thể về một nơi bạn đã đến để tăng tính thuyết phục.
Ví dụ: When I was a child, I enjoyed traveling around the world. I loved it because I could explore different cultures and visit many beautiful places; for example, I once visited a traditional market where I tried local food and learned about daily life.
Do you have a hobby that you've had since childhood?
Điểm: 62.0Gợi ý: Sửa lỗi thì và ngữ pháp (I've have -> I've had), viết câu ngắn gọn, tránh lặp từ 'fun' nhiều lần. Thêm chi tiết cụ thể (loại trò chơi, kỉ niệm) và dùng liên từ để mạch lạc. Giữ tối đa 3-4 câu.
Ví dụ: I've had the hobby of playing with my friends since childhood because it was very enjoyable. We used to spend whole afternoons playing football and board games, and talking about school. Those times made me very happy and helped me form close friendships.
Do you have the same hobbies as your family members?
Điểm: 60.0Gợi ý: Cải thiện ngữ pháp và trật tự từ (My mom and I both love trying new foods), tránh lặp và câu quá dài. Nên có câu chủ đề rõ ràng, 1-2 câu chi tiết ví dụ (món ăn yêu thích, nhà hàng bạn thường đến) và dùng liên từ 'so' hoặc 'for example' để nối ý.
Ví dụ: Yes, my mother and I share a hobby: trying new foods. We often visit different restaurants together, and for example last month we tried a Korean barbecue place that became our favourite.
× I think that I have many hobbies, but the one that I keen on the most is listen to music.
✓ I think that I have many hobbies, but the one that I am keen on the most is listening to music.
The verb 'keen on' must be followed by a gerund (verb + -ing). Use 'listening' not the base form 'listen'. Also include the auxiliary 'am' for correct present continuous description of preference. Suggestion: Use 'keen on' + gerund: 'keen on listening to music'. Also ensure subject-verb presence by including 'am'.
× Now I'm learning in school and after a long day studying, I think that listen to music make me feel really relaxed and also when I'm studying or do some homework, listen to music also make me feel stay focused too.
✓ Now I'm studying at school and after a long day of studying, I think that listening to music makes me feel really relaxed, and also when I'm studying or doing some homework, listening to music also helps me stay focused.
Multiple issues: 'learning in school' is better as 'studying at school' (preposition + verb choice). 'after a long day studying' needs 'of' after 'day'. 'listen to music make' uses base verb and incorrect agreement; after a gerund use singular verb 'makes'. 'do some homework' should be 'doing some homework' for parallel gerund structure. 'make me feel stay focused' is incorrect; use 'helps me stay focused'. Suggestion: Use gerunds consistently and match singular verb forms: 'listening... makes' and change verbs to 'studying'/'doing'.
× Yep, I will say that my hobby when I was a child is travel around the world.
✓ Yes, I would say that my hobby when I was a child was traveling around the world.
Mixing conditional/future 'will' with a past time reference is incorrect. For describing past habits use past tense 'was' and gerund 'traveling'. 'Will say' is inappropriate; 'would say' is more tentative but past context requires past forms. Suggestion: Use past tense for past habits: 'my hobby when I was a child was traveling...'.
× I like traveling around the world because I can explore different cultures, visit many beautiful place and learn how people live in other countries.
✓ I like traveling around the world because I can explore different cultures, visit many beautiful places, and learn how people live in other countries.
'Place' should be plural 'places' to match 'many'. Also add commas for list clarity. 'Beautiful' correctly modifies 'places'. Suggestion: Ensure nouns that follow quantifiers like 'many' are plural.
× And also when I go there I can share with my friends what I see.
✓ Also, when I go there I can share with my friends what I have seen.
When talking about sharing experiences after visiting, present perfect 'have seen' is more appropriate than simple present 'see'. This clarifies completed experiences. Suggestion: Use present perfect for experiences: 'what I have seen'.
× I think that I have a hobby that I've have since childhood is playing with my friends because I found it really fun.
✓ I think that the hobby I've had since childhood is playing with my friends because I found it really fun.
The original has 'I've have' (redundant) and wrong sequence. Use present perfect 'I've had' to indicate a hobby continuing from childhood. Keep 'found' (past) acceptable if referring to past feeling, but 'find' (present) could be used for ongoing enjoyment. Suggestion: Use 'I've had' and rephrase: 'the hobby I've had since childhood is playing with my friends'.
× I could play with them all day. We have so many topic to talk together and also play many games together too.
✓ I could play with them all day. We had so many topics to talk about together and also played many games together.
'Many topic' should be plural 'many topics'. Also tense consistency: if referring to childhood, use past tense 'had' and 'played'. 'Talk together' is better as 'talk about together' or 'talk together about'. Suggestion: Use plural nouns after 'many' and keep tense consistent with the time reference.
× It make me feel really happy and I think that is very fun.
✓ It made me feel really happy and I think that it was very fun.
If referring to past experiences, verbs should be past tense: 'made' not 'make'. Also 'that is' should match past: 'that it was'. Ensure subject 'that' refers clearly to the activity by adding 'it'. Suggestion: Maintain tense consistency and correct verb forms: 'it made me...' and 'it was very fun'.
× I think that I have some hobbies that is same as my family member is my mom which is loving love trying new food like me too and we often go to many restaurant to try new food together and I love that I think that is make me feel very happy.
✓ I think that I have some hobbies that are the same as my family members. My mom also loves trying new foods like I do, and we often go to many restaurants to try new food together. I love that; I think it makes me feel very happy.
Multiple issues: 'hobbies that is' should be 'hobbies that are' (subject-verb agreement). 'family member' should be plural 'family members' or specify 'my family member'. Awkward relative clause 'my mom which is loving love' should be 'my mom also loves'. 'Trying new food' — use plural 'foods' or 'new food' consistently and 'restaurants' plural. 'I think that is make me' wrong—use 'it makes me'. Suggestion: Fix agreement, use correct relative pronoun and verb forms, and make nouns plural where needed.
