Are you good at memorising things?
建议:1) 开头直接给出主题句并简洁回答,例如“I’m not very good at long-term memorisation.” 2) 使用连接词(however, although, but)来组织对比,避免重复表述。3) 修正语法错误(例如“I sometimes can’t remember my friends’ names although I recognise them”)。
Ví dụ: I’m not very good at long-term memorisation. For example, I often recognise friends but can’t remember their names immediately. However, I’m good at short-term memorising; I can read a poem and retell it five minutes later, though I usually forget it after a day.
Have you ever forgotten something important?
3) 使用连词解释原因与后果,修正语法(e.g. “I arrived late to the ceremony”)。4) 最后一句应总结态度,使用正确表达(“I don’t worry too much because I can usually fix mistakes”)。
Ví dụ: Yes, I have. I once forgot the exact time of my graduation ceremony and arrived late. Because of that, I missed part of the celebration. However, I don’t worry too much now because I usually find ways to fix these mistakes.
What do you need to remember in your daily life?
建议:1) 开头直接给出主题句,如“I need to remember schedules and important dates.” 2) 列举具体事项并用连接词(for example, such as)使句子更连贯。
Ví dụ: I need to remember my daily schedule, such as meeting times and class timetables. I also keep track of important dates, for example friends’ birthdays and appointment deadlines.
How do you remember important things?
建议:1) 开头直接陈述方法,例如“I rely on my phone calendar and reminders.” 2) 用流畅的句子描述具体做法,避免填充词(umm)。
Ví dụ: I rely on my phone’s calendar and set reminders for important events. I also use alarms to alert me before meetings or classes so I don’t miss them.
× No, actually I have a really bad memory.
✓ No, actually I have a really bad memory.
× Sometimes I even can't tell my friend's name, although I really recognize them.
✓ Sometimes I even can't remember my friends' names, although I really recognize them.
× But I'm quite good at memorising things in a short time.
✓ But I'm quite good at memorising things in a short time.
× I can read a poem and then retell it in only 5 minutes, but after a day I will totally forget all the things.
✓ I can read a poem and then retell it in only five minutes, but after a day I totally forget it.
此外,“all the things”不自然,改为指代诗歌的“it”。建议:将“will totally forget all the things”改为“一般现在时 + 具体代词”。
× Yes, actually I forget the specific time of my graduation ceremony, so I arrive at the holiday.
✓ Yes, actually I forgot the specific time of my graduation ceremony, so I arrived on the holiday.
另外介词用法错误,英语中应说“arrived on the day”或“arrived during the holiday”,这里改为“on the holiday”。
× I think the poor memory always lead to some bad results, but since I can fix it, I'm not care much about my memory.
✓ I think my poor memory always leads to some bad results, but since I can fix it, I don't care much about my memory.
主语“the poor memory”应改为所有格“my poor memory”;动词“lead”需与单数主语一致改为“leads”。后半句语法错误,“I'm not care much”应为否定动词结构“I don't care much”。
× Well, merely some exact time of daily routines like the meetings or the classes.
✓ Well, just the exact times of daily routines, like meetings or classes.
× At the same time I think there are some special day for us to remember, like friends birthday.
✓ At the same time I think there are some special days for us to remember, like friends' birthdays.
× Actually I have a calendar on my phone, so I'll Add all the things umm on that routine.
✓ Actually I have a calendar on my phone, so I add all the things to it on my routine.
原句中的“I'll Add”时态和大小写不当,且“on that routine”搭配不自然,应为“on my routine”或更自然地“as part of my routine”。建议:使用一致的时态(这里习惯性动作用一般现在时“add”),注意大小写,使用正确介词“to it”或改写为“as part of my routine”。
× At the same time I also have some remember reminder and clock which will Alert me to attend the meeting or when to go to the classroom.
✓ At the same time I also have some reminders and an alarm clock which alert me to attend meetings or tell me when to go to the classroom.
