Part 1

Are you good at memorising things?

Điểm: 55.0

Gợi ý: 回答要更自然、语法正确,并直接回应问题。开头给出明确的主题句(例如:Yes/No, I’m good at...),然后用一两句简洁具体的细节支持,用连接词使表达更连贯。注意动词单复数和时态一致,避免冗余(如重复说“some words, some important things”)。

Ví dụ: Not really. My memory is quite unreliable sometimes; for example, I often forget minor appointments or words during conversations. To cope, I rely on notes and reminders so I don’t miss important tasks.

Have you ever forgotten something important?

Điểm: 65.0

Gợi ý: 回答要更清晰有条理,使用连接词(for example, because, as a result)并纠正表达(如“a range A meet”不明确,应说“a meeting”)。控制在三到四句内,突出关键细节:发生了什么、原因、结果和感受。

Ví dụ: Yes, I once forgot a meeting with a friend because I was exhausted after work. As a result, I missed the meeting and felt very embarrassed, so I apologised and rearranged another time to make up for it.

What do you need to remember in your daily life?

Điểm: 60.0

Gợi ý: 回答要先给出主题句,然后用具体例子说明要记住的事项。注意人称和语法(如不要用“Me think”),并用连接词使句子流畅。可以补充一两个具体细节说明后果以增加内容丰富度。

Ví dụ: As a legal assistant, I need to remember important deadlines, such as court filing dates and client meetings. Missing these deadlines could seriously affect a case, so I always set multiple reminders to avoid mistakes.

Gợi ý: 回答应直接说明主要方法并举例说明如何具体使用(例如提醒、日历、lists)。注意语法(例如“to avoid forgetting them”),避免重复和口语化填充词。最后可以简单评价方法的优缺点。

Ví dụ: Mostly I write important tasks in a note app or calendar on my phone and set alarms. For small things I sometimes keep them in my head, but that often leads to forgetting, so I’m trying to rely more on digital reminders.

Ngữ pháp

Present tense issue

× Now and then my ability to memorize things are terrible.

✓ Now and then my ability to memorize things is terrible.

本句主语是单数短语“my ability to memorize things”,谓语应使用单数形式“is”。现在时态表达习惯性状况,使用“is terrible”更符合语法。建议识别主语的数(单数/复数),确保动词和主语一致。

Plural and quantifier issue

× I sometimes just miss out many important things and I just can't recall some words, some important things.

✓ I sometimes miss many important things and can't recall some words or other important details.

“miss out many important things”用法不自然,通常说“miss many important things”或“miss out on many things”。为避免重复,改为“some words or other important details”。建议注意与不可数/可数名词及短语搭配,避免冗余重复。

Past tense issue

× Yes, I had a range A meet with a friend recently but I totally forgot after work because I was exhausted and as a result I missed the meeting and I feel really embarrassed and I apologized with my friend many times.

✓ Yes, I had arranged a meeting with a friend recently but I totally forgot after work because I was exhausted. As a result, I missed the meeting and felt really embarrassed, and I apologized to my friend many times.

原句多处时态和用词错误:应为“arranged a meeting”而非“a range A meet”。叙述过去发生的事应使用过去时态(forgot, was exhausted, missed, felt, apologized)。此外搭配“apologized to someone”。建议理清事件时间线,保持过去时一致,注意动词搭配和正确单词拼写。

Incorrect use of pronouns

× Many think as a legal assistant I must keep track of important deadlines such as the day to submit materials to the court.

✓ As a legal assistant, I must keep track of important deadlines such as the day to submit materials to the court.

句首的“Many think”会引起歧义且不符合语境,应为“作为一名法律助理(As a legal assistant)”引出主语。原句主语缺失且结构混乱。建议使用清晰的主语和插入语,保持句子完整。

Present tense issue

× Me think this could have a serious effect on the case.

✓ I think this could have a serious effect on the case.

“Me think”是不标准主格使用,正确主语为“I”。动词“think”应与主语“I”连用,且本句表达现在的观点用一般现在时(I think)。建议使用主格代词并保持时态一致。

Adverb/quantifier and verb form issue

× Most of time I write important things down in a notebook on my phone to avoid forgotten them.

✓ Most of the time I write important things down in a notebook on my phone to avoid forgetting them.

应为固定短语“Most of the time”。动词不定式后应用动名词“forgetting”而不是过去分词“forgotten”。宾格代词“them”保留。建议记住固定搭配并区分动词+to/动名词的用法。

Verb + -ing form and gerund/participle issue

× However for some small things I just keep it in my head.

✓ However, for some small things I just keep them in my head.

“some small things”是复数,指代代词应为复数“them”而不是“it”。建议注意代词与先行词数的一致。

Verb in the present participle form / Sentence structure error

× But you know it is very easy to missing them as my memory is poor.

✓ But you know it's very easy to miss them since my memory is poor.

固定结构是“easy to do”,后面接动词原形“miss”,而不是动名词“missing”。此外用“since/my memory is poor”更自然。建议掌握“easy to + 动词原形”的结构以及连词的选择。
