Is it easy for you to remember people's names?
Thí sinh
Not really. Actually I find it difficult for me to remember other people's names, unless their names are unusual or the same as a celebrity's name. For example, one of my high school classmates has a name which means a fish in Chinese so I remembered her name at the first time we met each other.

How do you remember people's names?
Thí sinh
Actually, I don't have any systematic method to remember other people's names. I think it is a spontaneous and natural process to remember their names instead. And every time I meet with someone strange, I will try my best to remember their surname at first

How do you feel when people can't remember your name?
Thí sinh
I don't mind if someone forgets my name if we've just met each other a few times because I'm also bad at memorizing people's names. But if we've already known each other for a long time and they still can't remember my name, I will feel frustrated and disappointed.

Is it easy for you to remember people's names?
主要问题是部分表达不够自然:“I find it difficult for me”应改为“I find it difficult to”,“the same as a celebrity's name”可改为“the same as a celebrity’s”。“at the first time we met each other”不自然,应使用“when we first met”。
Ví dụ: Not really. I find it quite difficult to remember people’s names, unless their names are unusual or remind me of a celebrity. For example, one of my high school classmates had a name that meant a type of fish in Chinese, so I remembered it when we first met.
How do you remember people's names?
“a spontaneous and natural process”较抽象且有些重复;“someone strange”容易表示“奇怪的人”,应改为“someone new”或“a stranger”;“remember their surname at first”应改为“remember their surname first”。
Ví dụ: I don’t have a very systematic method, but I usually repeat a person’s name silently after meeting them. I also try to remember their surname first because it helps me recall the whole name later. If possible, I use their name again during the conversation, which makes it easier to remember.
How do you feel when people can't remember your name?
可以进一步提升自然度:“if we've just met each other a few times”应改为“if we’ve only met a few times”,“we've already known each other”应改为“we’ve known each other”。“bad at memorizing people's names”可以更口语化地说成“not very good at remembering names”。
Ví dụ: I don’t mind if someone forgets my name when we’ve only met a few times, because I’m not very good at remembering names either. However, if we’ve known each other for a long time and they still forget my name, I feel frustrated and a little disappointed. It makes me wonder whether they really value our relationship.
Do you often forget people's names?
“I don’t think so”后应停顿或使用句号;“I feel forgetting...”应改为“ I feel that forgetting...”或更自然的“It seems disrespectful to forget...”。“for another occasion”应改为“if I’ve only met someone a few times”;“madame”拼写应为“madam”,但在日常英语中称呼陌生人更自然的方式是“excuse me”或使用“Mr./Ms. + 姓氏”。
Ví dụ: No, not very often. I think forgetting someone’s name after knowing them for a long time can seem disrespectful, so I make an effort to remember names and leave a good impression. If I’ve only met someone a few times, I usually avoid using their name until I’m sure I remember it correctly.
× For example, one of my high school classmates has a name which means a fish in Chinese so I remembered her name at the first time we met each other.
✓ For example, one of my high school classmates has a name that means “fish” in Chinese, so I remembered her name the first time we met.
时”时,通常使用“the first time”,不使用“at the first time”。
× No, I don't think so I feel forgetting someone's name after we've known each other for a long time seems disrespectful so I will try to remember other people's names to leave a good impression.
✓ No, I don't think so. I feel that forgetting someone's name after we've known each other for a long time seems disrespectful, so I will try to remember other people's names to leave a good impression.
应在“I don't think so”后加句号,并在“so”前加逗号;在“I feel”后加入“that”也能使从句结构更清晰。
× And for another occasion that we just meet with each other a few times I will call them by madame or sir.
✓ And on occasions when we have only met each other a few times, I will call them Madam or Sir.
× And for another occasion that we just meet with each other a few times I will call them by madame or sir.
✓ And on occasions when we have only met each other a few times, I will address them as Madam or Sir.
时,应使用“address someone as ...”,而不是“call someone by ...”。“call someone by”通常用于表示“以某个名字称呼某人”,例如“call him by his first name”。
