× NM a full time university student rather than employee, I study mechanical manufacturing at Hangzhou Normal University.
✓ I'm a full-time university student rather than an employee; I study mechanical manufacturing at Hangzhou Normal University.
句子缺少主语和系动词(原句以“NM”开始且省略了“I am”),并且“full time”应写作复合形容词“full-time”,“employee”前需不定冠词“an”。
× My daily schedule is packed with professional courses and name practices which keeps me pretty occupied most of the time.
✓ My daily schedule is packed with professional courses and lab/practical practices, which keep me pretty occupied most of the time.
从句“which keeps”中的先行词是复数“courses and practices”,因此动词应为复数“keep”。
× Actually, I don't have a formal job right now. I mean work takes place on campus, including lecture halls and engineering labs.
✓ Actually, I don't have a formal job right now. I mean my work takes place on campus, including lecture halls and engineering labs.
There be类问题中要注意主语存在与指代,这里应明确“My work”。
× I spend most of my school days finishing coursework and doing mechanical experiments for my major.
✓ I spend most of my school days finishing coursework and doing mechanical experiments related to my major.
“for my major”搭配不自然,常用表达是“related to my major”或“in my major”。
× Yeah, absolutely it is The campus have well equipped labs and experienced professors who can get me through tricky technical problems beside and discuss ideas with my classmates frequently.
✓ Yeah, absolutely it is. The campus has well-equipped labs and experienced professors who can help me get through tricky technical problems and discuss ideas with my classmates frequently.
原句主谓不一致,“The campus”是单数名词,应使用“has”而非“have”。此外“well equipped”应加连字符变“well-equipped”,“get me through”搭配更自然为“help me get through”,并调整“beside”位置或删除。
× Still, study environment is really beneficial for my academic growth.
✓ Still, the study environment is really beneficial for my academic growth.
× Absolutely, I'm really fond of this campus learning environment.
✓ Absolutely, I'm really fond of this campus's learning environment.
原句“this campus learning environment”缺少所有格或连字符,改为“this campus's learning environment”更清晰。亦可改为“the campus learning environment”。
× Apart from advanced study facilities to study, atomicity is positive and motivated.
✓ Apart from advanced study facilities, the atmosphere is positive and motivating.
短语“facilities to study”多余,改为“study facilities”。
× The only tiny downside is that the lab can get noise sometimes when we test the machinery parts, but it's totally acceptable.
✓ The only minor downside is that the lab can get noisy sometimes when we test the machinery parts, but it's totally acceptable.
× And I plan to pursue a post graduate degree overseas relative to my mechanical manufacturing.
✓ I plan to pursue a postgraduate degree overseas related to my mechanical manufacturing major.
短语“relative to my mechanical manufacturing”用法不当,应为“related to my mechanical manufacturing major”或“in mechanical manufacturing”。
× After graduation, I plan to engage in intelligent equipment or robotic design industries.
✓ After graduation, I plan to work in the intelligent equipment or robotics design industries.
动词“engage in”后接行业时可以,但更自然的表达是“work in”或“engage in the ... industry”。
