Is it a good place to work?
Thí sinh
Frankly speaking, no. My benefits were not secure, there were no performance bonuses and my salary was often often delayed. Secondly, the management was toxic and very micromanaging. I had to work overtime every single day even though I had finished all my tasks.

Would you like the place where you work?

I wouldn't want to keep working there because it was emotionally draining. Long hours and constant pressure made me stressed. However, I still feel grateful for the meaningful experience at the job give me, such as improving my time management skills and learning to handle difficult situations.

Do you work or are you a student?
Điểm: 78.0Gợi ý: Câu trả lời rõ ràng nhưng có thể tự nhiên và ngắn gọn hơn. Nên mở đầu bằng một câu chủ đề ngắn, tránh lặp từ (ví dụ “I'm currently between jobs” đã đủ), rồi cung cấp thêm 1-2 chi tiết cụ thể về lý do chuyển hướng hoặc kỹ năng liên quan. Hạn chế dài hơn 4-5 câu để giữ tính hiệu quả và mạch lạc.
Ví dụ: I'm currently between jobs. I previously worked as a real estate marketing executive, where I developed skills in market research and client negotiation. Now I'm seeking opportunities in logistics or international trade because I want to apply those analytical and negotiation skills in a more global industry.
Where do you work?
Điểm: 72.0Gợi ý: Câu trả lời có đủ nội dung nhưng hơi lủng củng và một vài chỗ thiếu chính xác ngữ pháp/đặt tên ("I'm group" gây nhầm). Nên bắt đầu bằng một câu chủ đề rõ ràng nêu công ty và vị trí, tiếp theo cung cấp 1-2 chi tiết cụ thể về công việc bạn làm. Dùng liên từ (e.g., "and", "where") để kết nối ý mạch lạc hơn.
Ví dụ: I'm currently between jobs, so I'll describe my last employer. It was a private multi-sector company called X Group, and I worked there as a project coordinator in the real estate development division. I managed residential projects, coordinating contractors and ensuring timelines and budgets were met.
Is it a good place to work?
Điểm: 82.0Gợi ý: Câu trả lời thẳng thắn và cung cấp nhiều chi tiết cụ thể — tốt. Tuy nhiên có lặp từ (“often often”) và hơi nhiều câu liệt kê; nên dùng liên từ để làm mạch văn trôi chảy hơn và thêm một câu tóm tắt ngắn để kết luận. Giữ tối đa 4-5 câu tổng thể.
Ví dụ: Not really. The benefits were unstable and salaries were often delayed, and there were no performance bonuses. Also, management was very micromanaging, which meant I frequently had to work overtime despite finishing my tasks. Overall, it wasn't a sustainable working environment.
Would you like the place where you work?
Điểm: 86.0Gợi ý: Câu trả lời cân bằng, có ý kiến tiêu cực và kết luận tích cực — rất tốt. Cần chỉnh vài lỗi ngữ pháp nhỏ (e.g., "job give me" → "job gave me") và rút gọn để tự nhiên hơn. Sử dụng liên từ để nối hai phần ý (vấn đề và điểm tích cực).
Ví dụ: I wouldn't want to continue working there because it was emotionally draining due to long hours and constant pressure. However, I am grateful for the experience because it improved my time-management skills and taught me how to handle difficult situations.
What are your future work plans?
Điểm: 80.0Gợi ý: Câu trả lời rõ ràng và có mục tiêu cụ thể — tốt. Tuy nhiên nên tránh bắt đầu câu bằng 'And', nối các ý bằng liên từ phù hợp và bổ sung một câu ngắn giải thích lý do lựa chọn những hướng đó hoặc kỹ năng bạn muốn phát triển. Giữ trong 3-4 câu để tự nhiên và thuyết phục.
Ví dụ: In the short term, I hope to become a business development executive at Vettel Group because I'm interested in combining strategy and client relations. If that doesn't work out, my Plan B is to join a logistics company like Namly to gain practical supply-chain experience.
× I'm currently between jobs so I'll talk about the company I worked for often.
✓ I'm currently between jobs, so I'll talk about the company I often worked for.
The original sentence has awkward word order and missing comma. Place the adverb 'often' before the verb phrase it modifies ('worked for') and add a comma before the coordinating conjunction 'so' to join the clauses correctly.
× I'm group.
✓ I work at a group company.
'I'm group' is ungrammatical; a subject complement is required. Use a verb phrase that indicates affiliation: 'I work at' or 'I am part of' and clarify 'group' as 'group company' or the company's name.
× It's a multi sectors private company and one of its main activities is real estate development where I worked on residential projects as a project coordinator.
✓ It's a multi-sector private company, and one of its main activities is real estate development, where I worked on residential projects as a project coordinator.
Use the adjective form 'multi-sector' (hyphenated) rather than 'multi sectors'. Add commas to separate clauses for clarity.
× My benefits were not secure, there were no performance bonuses and my salary was often often delayed.
✓ My benefits were not secure, there were no performance bonuses, and my salary was often delayed.
The adverb 'often' is repeated unnecessarily; remove the duplicate. Also add a comma before 'and' in a list of three items.
× Secondly, the management was toxic and very micromanaging.
✓ Secondly, the management was toxic and very micromanaging.
Although the sentence is understandable, 'micromanaging' describes an action; 'micromanaging' as an adjective is informal but acceptable. For more formal phrasing, use 'highly micromanaging' or 'very micromanaging' is acceptable. No grammatical change required.
× I had to work overtime every single day even though I had finished all my tasks.
✓ I had to work overtime every single day even though I had finished all my tasks.
The tense usage is correct: past perfect 'had finished' appropriately shows completion before the past event 'had to work'. No correction needed.
× Would you like the place where you work?
✓ Did you like the place where you worked?
The examiner asked about a past job, so the question should be in the past tense. Use 'Did you like' and 'worked' to match the time frame.
× Long hours and constant pressure made me stressed.
✓ Long hours and constant pressure made me stressed.
This sentence is grammatically correct; 'made me stressed' correctly uses past tense to describe the effect. For stylistic improvement, 'made me feel stressed' is an option but not required.
× However, I still feel grateful for the meaningful experience at the job give me, such as improving my time management skills and learning to handle difficult situations.
✓ However, I still feel grateful for the meaningful experience the job gave me, such as improving my time-management skills and learning to handle difficult situations.
Use past tense 'gave' to refer to a past job. Correct word order: 'experience the job gave me'. Hyphenate 'time-management' as a compound noun adjective.
× My short term plan is to become a business development executive at Vettel Group, a major telecommunications and defense company in Vietnam.
✓ My short-term plan is to become a business development executive at Vettel Group, a major telecommunications and defense company in Vietnam.
Hyphenate 'short-term' when used as a compound adjective before a noun. Tense and structure are otherwise appropriate.
× And if that doesn't work out, my Plan B is to work in logistics in Namly.
✓ If that doesn't work out, my Plan B is to work in logistics at Namly.
Avoid beginning the sentence with 'And' in formal speech; remove it. Use the preposition 'at' for a company name ('at Namly') and capitalize 'Plan B' consistently. Ensure parallel structure with the conditional.
