Bike— Part 1 Relatório

Sugestão: Your answer is clear and directly answers the question, but it is too brief to develop the conversation. Add a short detail, such as whether you wanted a bike or how you usually travelled as a child.

Exemplo: No, I didn’t have a bike when I was a child. I usually walked to school, although I sometimes borrowed a friend’s bike for fun.

Sugestão: You give an answer and a reason, but correct the preposition to “in our country” and use the plural “bikes.” Make the reason more specific by explaining who uses bikes or what they use them for.

Exemplo: Yes, bikes are quite popular in my country, especially among teenagers. Many of them ride bikes to school or use them to meet up with friends.

× Yes, bikes are popular on our country because teenagers love bike.

✓ Yes, bikes are popular in our country because teenagers love bike.

Use in, not on, when referring to a country as a location. A more natural version of the full sentence is: Yes, bikes are popular in our country because teenagers love bikes.

× Yes, bikes are popular on our country because teenagers love bike.

✓ Yes, bikes are popular on our country because teenagers love bikes.

Bike is used as a general plural count noun here, so it should be bikes. Use the plural form when talking about teenagers liking bikes in general.
