Bike— Part 1 Relatório

Sugestão: Your answer is grammatically correct and directly answers the question, but it is too brief to demonstrate your speaking ability. Add one or two specific details, such as what type of bike you had, when you used it, or what you enjoyed about riding it. Keep the answer to two or three natural sentences.

Exemplo: Yes, I did. I had a small blue bike when I was about eight years old, and I often rode it around my neighborhood with my friends.

Sugestão: You give a relevant reason, but the answer contains repetition, hesitation, and an unnecessary concluding sentence. State your opinion once, then support it with a clear reason and, if possible, a specific example. Use a linking word such as “because” or “for example” to make the answer more coherent.

Exemplo: Yes, bikes are quite popular in my country, especially in large cities. Many people use them because traffic is often heavy, and bikes are a convenient and inexpensive way to travel short distances.

× Uh, it is quite popular in my country, yes.

✓ They are quite popular in my country, yes.

The noun bikes is plural, so it must be referred to with the plural pronoun they, not the singular pronoun it. Use they are when referring to bikes.
