Bike— Part 1 Relatório

Sugestão: You did not answer the question and confused “bike” with “bite.” Use the past tense because the question asks about your childhood: start with a direct answer such as “Yes, I did” or “No, I didn’t,” and then add one specific detail. Also, say “when you were a child,” not “when you’re a child.”

Exemplo: Yes, I did. I had a small blue bike when I was about eight years old, and I often rode it around my neighborhood with my friends.

Sugestão: You repeated the examiner’s question instead of giving your opinion. Respond directly with your view, use the present tense, and support it with a specific reason or example. Linking words such as “because” or “especially” can make your answer clearer and more natural.

Exemplo: Yes, I think bikes are quite popular in my country, especially among young people and university students. They are affordable and convenient, and many people use them for short journeys or exercise.

× Do you have a bite when you're a child?

✓ Did you have a bike when you were a child?

The question asks about a past time, so the past-tense auxiliary did is required instead of the present-tense do. After did, use the base verb have, not has or had. The clause when you were a child also needs the past form were instead of the present form are. Bike is the correct word for the intended meaning; bite refers to using the teeth.
