Examinador

How did you learn to be polite as a child?

Candidato

When I was a little child and I had a very good teacher and she's very politely nice and kind, she always taught me a lot from right and wrong. And she always read a lot of books for us to teach us how to be polite and how to greet with each other and how to become to others and how to be.

Examinador

Do you think being polite is very important?

Candidato

Yes, I think being polite is very crucial to me. And if we don't be polite to others and we can't get respect from the others and other people treat us badly and we can't get to the destination that we want to next, we can get good friendship from others we we don't have friends in.

Examinador

On what occasions should we be polite?

Candidato

For me, I think it depends if you want to ask help for others. And we need to show respect and give our demand for others, right? And if other people treat us nicely, then we can be polite to others, right? If, uh, if others aren't, be polite to us and we, yeah, we can.

Examinador

What did you do to show your politeness as a child?

Candidato

When I was a child, I'd always showed my parent likeness to others. Like I would smile at them for the first time. Or I will with my arms say hello, thank you, please, sorry to show my respect. Next maybe I will help the others in need. I will help. I'll give them a hand to to make a good interaction.

Part 1

How did you learn to be polite as a child?

Pontuação: 58.0

注意时态一致与代词使用(she was polite; she taught us right from wrong)。

Exemplo: I learned to be polite mainly from my teacher when I was a child. She was kind and patient and taught us right from wrong through stories and examples. For example, she read books about manners and showed us how to greet people politely. Because of her guidance, I learned to use words like "please" and "thank you".

Do you think being polite is very important?

Pontuação: 52.0

先给出主题句(Yes, it is important),然后用两到三句具体原因支持(shows respect; builds relationships; helps in work or travel)。

Exemplo: Yes, I believe being polite is very important. Being polite shows respect for others and helps you build good relationships. For example, polite people are more likely to receive help and cooperation at work or when travelling. Therefore, politeness can make life easier and more pleasant.

On what occasions should we be polite?

Pontuação: 45.0

先说一句总括(we should be polite in many situations),然后列举具体场合(学校, work, public transport, meeting strangers)并给出简短原因。使用连接词(for example, such as)。

Exemplo: We should be polite in many everyday situations. For example, be polite at school and work to show respect to teachers and colleagues. Also be polite when meeting strangers or asking for help, such as on public transport or in shops. In short, politeness is appropriate whenever you interact with others.

What did you do to show your politeness as a child?

Pontuação: 55.0

先概述(I showed politeness by...),然后列举具体举动(smiled, greeted, used polite phrases, helped others)并用举例支持。避免错误的短语("showed my parent likeness"应改为"showed respect and kindness")。

Exemplo: As a child, I showed politeness by smiling and greeting people warmly. I often said "hello," "please" and "thank you" to my parents and teachers. I also tried to help others when they needed it, for example by sharing toys or helping a friend with homework.

Gramática

Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs

× When I was a little child and I had a very good teacher and she's very politely nice and kind, she always taught me a lot from right and wrong.

✓ When I was a little child I had a very good teacher. She was very polite, nice and kind; she always taught me a lot about right and wrong.

原句中“she's very politely nice and kind”構詞錯誤:應使用形容詞“polite”而不是副詞“politely”,並且時態一致性應為過去式(was)。此外,句子過長且結構混亂,需拆分並用“about”引出“right and wrong”。

Incorrect use of the definite article

× And she always read a lot of books for us to teach us how to be polite and how to greet with each other and how to become to others and how to be.

✓ She also read many books to us to teach how to be polite, how to greet one another, and how to behave toward others.

原句中“read a lot of books for us to teach us”結構不自然,應為“read books to us”或“read books for us”。“greet with each other”用法錯誤,應為“greet one another”。“become to others”錯誤,應為“behave toward others”。

Present tense issue

× Yes, I think being polite is very crucial to me.

✓ Yes, I think being polite is very important to me.

“crucial to me”雖可理解但較少用於描述個人看法,且語氣不自然。用“important to me”更常見且語法自然。

Incorrect conjunction use

× And if we don't be polite to others and we can't get respect from the others and other people treat us badly and we can't get to the destination that we want to next, we can get good friendship from others we we don't have friends in.

✓ If we are not polite to others, we won't get their respect; people may treat us badly, and we may fail to achieve our goals. We also will have difficulty making friends.

原句連詞濫用且句子堆砌,包含多處語法錯誤:“don't be polite”應為“are not polite”或“don't behave politely”;“we can't get to the destination that we want to next”語序與表達不自然,改為“fail to achieve our goals”;最後部分重複且不完整,改為“have difficulty making friends”。

Incorrect use of prepositions

× For me, I think it depends if you want to ask help for others.

✓ For me, I think it depends if you want to ask others for help.

介詞使用不當:“ask help for others”應為“ask others for help”或“ask for help from others”。

Incorrect use of pronouns

× And we need to show respect and give our demand for others, right?

✓ We need to show respect and express our requests to others, right?

原句“give our demand for others”用詞與代詞不當,英文中應說“express our requests to others”或“make requests of others”。“demand”較強硬且不可用“give ... for”。建議用“express”或“make a request”。

Incorrect use of pronouns

× And if other people treat us nicely, then we can be polite to others, right?

✓ If other people treat us nicely, then we should be polite to them, right?

另外,“can be polite”語義模糊,用“should be polite”更符合道德建議。

Incorrect use of pronouns

× If, uh, if others aren't, be polite to us and we, yeah, we can.

✓ If others aren't polite to us, then we can't be polite to them, or it's difficult to do so.

原句結構省略且代詞混亂,“if others aren't, be polite to us”缺少被省略部分,應完整表達“If others aren't polite to us”並說明結果。

Past tense issue

× When I was a child, I'd always showed my parent likeness to others.

✓ When I was a child, I always showed my parents' kindness/affection to others.

“I'd always showed”時態錯誤且混合,正確應為簡單過去“I always showed”或過去完成“I had always shown”取決上下文。

Incorrect use of prepositions

× Like I would smile at them for the first time.

✓ For example, I would smile at them when I first met them.

“for the first time”位置和搭配不自然,應用時間狀語“when I first met them”或“the first time I met them”。

Incorrect tense

× Or I will with my arms say hello, thank you, please, sorry to show my respect.

✓ Or I would use gestures, like waving my arms, and say 'hello', 'thank you', 'please', and 'sorry' to show my respect.

“I will with my arms say”語序錯誤,應為“use gestures, like waving my arms”。

Incorrect use of pronouns

× Next maybe I will help the others in need.

✓ Next, maybe I would help others in need.

Incorrect use of pronouns

× I will help. I'll give them a hand to to make a good interaction.

✓ I would help them. I'd give them a hand to create a good interaction.

“to to”有重複錯誤,且“make a good interaction”搭配不自然,應為“create/establish a good interaction”或“have a good interaction”。
