Examinador

Do you think being polite is very important?

Candidato

Yes, absolutely is. It is very important and in general you should be blind to everyone no matter what, even though the person is younger than you. Or maybe there is a slight difference in social status, but you still need to be polite. But if the person with whom you communicate isn't polite to you, that's the reason you can change yourself.

Examinador

On what occasions should we be polite?

Candidato

We should be blind on any occasions. It can be both everyday life and some important events of yours. Without a doubt, a single one person should be polite to everyone who surrounds him because it makes world better and people happier.

Examinador

What did you do to show your politeness as a child?

Candidato

When I was a child, I had never been rude to people around me, my friends or elder generation. Uh, and I tried to do my best even at the age of 5, seven years old, to help people who like that, who need help. Uh, and even though it was just small steps, I still did something to improve the world and be.

Part 1

How did you learn to be polite as a child?

Pontuação: 72.0

Sugestão: Сократите и упорядочьте ответ, убирая заполнители (uh) и повторения. Начните с основной мысли (topic sentence), затем приведите одну-две конкретные детали (конкретный пример поведения матери) и завершите выводом. Следите за грамматикой (артикли и порядок слов).

Exemplo: I learned to be polite by watching my mother. For example, she always greeted neighbors with a smile and said “please” and “thank you,” so I copied her behaviour. Because of that, politeness became a habit for me.

Do you think being polite is very important?

Pontuação: 66.0

Sugestão: Уточните идею и избегайте неуместных слов (например, “blind” — неверно). Дайте короткое мнение, затем причину и пример. Не противоречьте себя: сформулируйте, можно ли менять своё поведение при грубости другого. Уберите длинные, сбивчивые фразы.

Exemplo: Yes, I think politeness is very important because it helps people get along. For instance, being polite to colleagues creates a positive work atmosphere. However, if someone is repeatedly rude, I would set boundaries rather than mirror their behaviour.

On what occasions should we be polite?

Pontuação: 60.0

Sugestão: Исправьте неверные слова (снова “blind” неправильно) и сделайте ответ конкретным: назовите повседневные и формальные ситуации. Дайте 1–2 примера и краткое объяснение результата. Старайтесь избегать общих фраз и повторов.

Exemplo: We should be polite in everyday situations, such as greeting neighbours or talking to shop assistants, and at formal events like job interviews or family gatherings. Politeness makes interactions smoother and shows respect for others.

What did you do to show your politeness as a child?

Pontuação: 68.0

Sugestão: Сделайте ответ более конкретным: начните с утверждения, затем приведите конкретные примеры действий в детстве (помогать старшим, делиться игрушками) и заключение. Избегайте двусмысленных и неполных фраз, уберите «uh» и фрагменты предложения.

Exemplo: As a child I showed politeness by helping older neighbours carry groceries and by sharing my toys with classmates. For example, at seven I often helped my grandmother set the table, which made her day easier.

Gramática

Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs

× she is very polite and nice woman

✓ she is a very polite and nice woman

Артикль 'a' необходим перед исчисляемым существительным в единственном числе; без него фраза звучит неполно. Совет: всегда ставьте a/an перед 'woman' в описательных конструкциях.

Incorrect use of verb

× she didn't talk teach me how to be polite

✓ she didn't teach me how to be polite

В данном случае используется отрицательная форма прошедшего времени 'didn't', поэтому основной глагол должен быть в инфинитиве без 'to' (teach). Повтор 'talk' лишний. Совет: после 'didn't' используйте базовую форму глагола.

Sentence structure errors

× but just looking at her she was my example and that's why I believe that I became polite and continued

✓ but just by watching her, she was my example, and that's why I believe I became polite and kept it up

Нужна предлоговая фраза 'by watching her' вместо 'looking at her'. 'Continued' требует дополнения ('continued what?') и лучше заменить на 'kept it up' для ясности. Совет: используйте ясные фразовые глаголы и завершайте мысль.

Subject-verb agreement errors

× Yes, absolutely is

✓ Yes, absolutely

Фраза 'absolutely is' не нужна; короткий ответ 'Yes, absolutely' корректен. Использование 'is' здесь нарушает согласование и звучит неправильно. Совет: в кратких подтверждениях опускайте связку 'is'.

Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs

× you should be blind to everyone

✓ you should be kind to everyone

Слово 'blind' некорректно в этом контексте; нужно прилагательное, обозначающее вежливое отношение — 'kind' или 'polite'. Совет: выбирайте лексику, отражающую намерение (политeness), а не буквальные описания.

Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs

× Even though the person is younger than you. Or maybe there is a slight difference in social status, but you still need to be polite.

✓ even if the person is younger than you, or if there is a slight difference in social status, you should still be polite.

Разделение на отдельные предложения вызывает фрагментарность; 'even though' лучше заменить на 'even if' для общего совета. Совет: используйте связные придаточные предложения для выражения условий.

Sentence structure errors

× But if the person with whom you communicate isn't polite to you, that's the reason you can change yourself

✓ but if the person you are communicating with isn't polite to you, you may change how you behave

Структура 'that's the reason you can change yourself' звучит неестественно. Лучше выразить изменение поведения: 'change how you behave'. Совет: переформулируйте 'change yourself' в конкретное действие.

Incorrect use of prepositions

× We should be blind on any occasions

✓ We should be polite on any occasion

Неверный предлог 'on' с множественным 'occasions' и снова неправильное 'blind'. Правильнее: 'on any occasion' или 'in any situation'. Совет: используйте 'on occasion' для отдельных случаев или 'in any situation' для общего смысла.

Incorrect use of pronouns

× It can be both everyday life and some important events of yours

✓ It can be both in everyday life and at some important events in your life

Нужны предлоги 'in' и 'at' для фраз 'everyday life' и 'events', и 'of yours' звучит неестественно — лучше 'in your life'. Совет: используйте устойчивые словосочетания: 'in everyday life', 'at events'.

Incorrect use of quantifiers

× Without a doubt, a single one person should be polite to everyone who surrounds him because it makes world better and people happier

✓ Without a doubt, every single person should be polite to everyone around them because it makes the world better and people happier

Неверный порядок и выбор слов: 'a single one person' неверно — нужно 'every single person'. 'Who surrounds him' неверная конструкция; лучше 'everyone around them' для нейтрального местоимения. Отсутствует артикль 'the' перед 'world'. Совет: используйте 'every single person', 'everyone around them' и 'the world'.

Past tense issue

× When I was a child, I had never been rude to people around me, my friends or elder generation

✓ When I was a child, I was never rude to people around me, my friends, or the older generation

Использование past perfect 'had never been' неуместно без ссылки на более раннее событие. Простое past 'was never' корректно. 'Elder generation' неправильная фраза; нужно 'the older generation'. Совет: для описания привычки в прошлом используйте 'was never' или 'didn't'.

Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs

× to help people who like that, who need help

✓ to help people like that, who needed help

Фраза 'who like that' некорректна; лучше 'people like that'. Поскольку речь о прошлом, придаточное должно быть в прошедшем: 'who needed help'. Совет: согласовывайте время в придаточном предложении с основным.

Sentence structure errors

× Uh, and even though it was just small steps, I still did something to improve the world and be

✓ and even though they were just small steps, I still did something to improve the world and be helpful

Предложение обрывается на 'and be' — нужно завершить мысль. 'It was just small steps' лучше заменить на 'they were just small steps' (шаги — множественное). Совет: завершайте предложения и согласуйте число существительных и местоимений.
