Part 1

Examinador

Do you have a favorite teacher?

Candidato

Yes, my favorite teacher is my English teacher from 9th grade. She was the best actually. Like she was really good at teaching and she loved me. I loved her. She was a really good teacher and she cared about me. Also did affect on my English.

Examinador

Do you want to be a teacher in the future?

Candidato

Not really. I don't want to be a teacher. I actually really think about it in the past and I don't really like children and I don't think I will be a good teacher because I get bored easily, so it's not for me.

Examinador

Do you have a teacher from your past that you still remember?

Candidato

Yes there is a teacher in the past I remember till this day umm it is my 8th grade English teacher. She was really nice but then she got transferred to another school so she was like only there for a semester. But she was really nice and did teach great.

Examinador

Are you still in touch with your primary school teachers?

Candidato

No, I'm not in touch with them, uh, right now, but last year I saw one of them and talk with her, but not right now. I don't know what they're doing or how they're going with their lives.

Examinador

In what way has your favourite teacher helped you?

Candidato

They really do help me with my confidence because they were always supportive, so I gained very much confidence while speaking English or umm, like in a test. So yeah.

Part 1

Do you have a favorite teacher?

Pontuação: 65.0

Sugestão: Cevabınız samimi ancak dağınık ve tekrarlar fazla. Daha doğrudan bir konu cümlesiyle başlayıp, ardından bağlaçlarla (for example, because, also) kısa ve belirgin destekleyici detaylar verin. Dilbilgisi hatalarını düzeltin (ör. “she loved me” yerine “she cared about me” veya “she supported me”), gereksiz tekrarları çıkarın ve maksimum 4-5 cümlede kalın.

Exemplo: My favourite teacher was my 9th-grade English teacher because she was an excellent and caring instructor. For example, she spent extra time explaining difficult grammar and encouraged me to speak in class. As a result, my confidence and English skills improved significantly.

Do you want to be a teacher in the future?

Pontuação: 70.0

Sugestão: Cevabınız net ve doğrudan ancak ifadeler gündelik konuşma diline yakın ve biraz dağınık. Kısa bir konu cümlesiyle reddedin, sonra iki kısa sebep verin ve bağlaç kullanın (because, so). Resmî konuşma için “I don't really like children” gibi ifadeyi biraz yumuşatın (e.g. “I don't feel suited to working with young children”).

Exemplo: No, I don't plan to become a teacher because I don't feel suited to working with young children and I find it difficult to stay patient for long periods. Therefore, I think a different career would match my strengths better.

Do you have a teacher from your past that you still remember?

Pontuação: 68.0

Sugestão: Cevabınız açıklayıcı fakat dolgu kelimeleri (umm, like) çok kullanılmış ve cümleler tekrara meyilli. Baştan konu cümlesi verip, sonra spesifik bir örnek veya anı ekleyin (what she did that was memorable). Bağlaçlarla cümleleri birleştirin ve dilbilgisi için “transferred” kullanımı doğru; cümleleri daha akıcı yapın.

Exemplo: Yes, I still remember my 8th-grade English teacher because she made lessons very engaging. She was only with us for one semester before being transferred, but she used interesting activities and clear explanations that helped me enjoy learning.

Are you still in touch with your primary school teachers?

Pontuação: 60.0

Sugestão: Cevabınız anlaşılır ancak tekrarlamalar ve dolgu kelimeleri var. Kısa ve net bir konu cümlesiyle başlayın, ardından bir kısa örnek verin ve bitişte genel bir ifade kullanın. Dilbilgisi olarak “I saw one of them and talked with her” gibi zamanı doğru kullanın.

Exemplo: No, I'm not currently in touch with my primary school teachers. I did meet one of them last year and we had a short conversation, but I haven't kept contact since then.

In what way has your favourite teacher helped you?

Pontuação: 62.0

Sugestão: Cevabınızın anlamı açık fakat karışık zaman kullanımı ve tekrarlar dikkat çekiyor. Tek cümleyle özetleyin, sonra bir veya iki somut örnek verin (e.g. helped with speaking, test preparation) ve bağlaç kullanın. Zaman uyumuna dikkat edin (past tense for past events).

Exemplo: She helped me gain confidence because she was always supportive and gave constructive feedback. For example, she encouraged me to speak in class and provided extra practice for exams, which improved my performance.

Gramática

Incorrect use of pronouns

× She was the best actually.

She was the best, actually.

Comma needed for natural pause and emphasis; pronoun use is fine but punctuation improves clarity.

Sentence structure errors

× Like she was really good at teaching and she loved me.

She was really good at teaching and cared about me.

Avoid informal filler 'Like' at sentence start; replace redundant 'she' and 'loved me' with 'cared about me' for natural meaning.

Sentence structure errors

× Also did affect on my English.

She also had an effect on my English.

Original is ungrammatical; use verb phrase 'had an effect on' to express influence.

Present tense issue

× I actually really think about it in the past and I don't really like children and I don't think I will be a good teacher because I get bored easily, so it's not for me.

I did think about it in the past, but I don't really like children and I don't think I would be a good teacher because I get bored easily, so it's not for me.

Mix of tenses incorrect: 'think about it in the past' should be past 'did think'; conditional 'would be' fits hypothetical future job better than 'will be'.

Sentence structure errors

× Yes there is a teacher in the past I remember till this day umm it is my 8th grade English teacher.

Yes, there is a teacher from my past I remember to this day: my 8th-grade English teacher.

Use 'from my past' not 'in the past'; 'till this day' better as 'to this day'; add hyphen in '8th-grade' and punctuation for clarity.

Past tense issue

× She was really nice but then she got transferred to another school so she was like only there for a semester.

She was really nice, but then she was transferred to another school, so she was only there for a semester.

Use passive 'was transferred' rather than 'got transferred' for formal correctness; remove filler 'like' and adjust word order.

Verb + -ing form

× But she was really nice and did teach great.

But she was really nice and taught really well.

Use simple past 'taught' not 'did teach' with bare infinitive; 'taught really well' is natural adverb usage.

Present tense issue

× No, I'm not in touch with them, uh, right now, but last year I saw one of them and talk with her, but not right now.

No, I'm not in touch with them right now, but last year I saw one of them and talked with her.

Maintain past tense 'talked' for the past event; remove redundant 'but not right now' and filler 'uh'.

Incorrect use of pronouns

× I don't know what they're doing or how they're going with their lives.

I don't know what they're doing or how they're getting on with their lives.

'Going with their lives' is unnatural; use 'getting on with their lives' or 'how their lives are going'.

Incorrect use of pronouns

× They really do help me with my confidence because they were always supportive, so I gained very much confidence while speaking English or umm, like in a test.

She really helped me with my confidence because she was always supportive, so I gained a lot of confidence when speaking English or taking tests.

Pronoun mismatch: 'They' should be 'She' referring to a single teacher; 'gained very much confidence' is awkward—use 'gained a lot of confidence'; 'in a test' -> 'taking tests'.
