Is it easy for you to remember people's names?
Pontuação: 58.0Sugestão: Сразу и ясно ответьте на вопрос, затем кратко объясните причину. Исправьте порядок слов: вместо «I easily can remember» скажите «I can easily remember». Выражение «it's like new information that they have to know» неясно; лучше уточнить, что имена трудно связать с лицами, особенно когда вы знакомитесь со многими людьми. Разделите длинную фразу на короткие предложения и добавьте связку, например «whereas» или «especially».
Exemplo: To be honest, no—it’s quite difficult for me. I can usually remember people’s faces, whereas their names are harder to recall, especially when I meet a lot of people at once.
How do you remember people's names?
Pontuação: 55.0Sugestão: Опишите один-два конкретных способа и используйте естественные конструкции. Для привычек нужен Present Simple: «I usually ask», а не «I'm asking». Говорите «repeat the person's name» и «after being introduced», а не «after introducing». Последняя часть ответа слишком запутанная: объясните проще, что иногда просите друга напомнить имя. Добавьте связку «also» и избегайте длинного предложения.
Exemplo: I usually repeat someone’s name during our first conversation because it helps me remember it. If I still forget, I sometimes ask a friend to remind me of the person’s name.
How do you feel when people can't remember your name?
Pontuação: 62.0Sugestão: Хорошо, что вы сравниваете первую встречу с последующими, но грамматику и формулировки нужно сделать точнее. Скажите «at a first meeting» и «if we’ve known each other for a long time». Не начинайте вторую мысль с «but if…» как отдельное предложение; объедините её с главной. Вместо неестественного «someone just don't remember me» используйте «it makes me feel that they don’t remember who I am».
Exemplo: I don’t mind if someone forgets my name the first time we meet, because I sometimes have the same problem. However, if we’ve known each other for a long time, I find it quite unpleasant because it feels as though they don’t remember who I am.
Do you often forget people's names?
Pontuação: 66.0Sugestão: Дайте прямой ответ в начале, например «Yes, especially when…», и уточните, что происходит со временем. Используйте «at a first meeting» и «after we’ve known each other for a while» вместо «after we communicate some proper time». Вместо «ask several times to repeat their names» естественнее сказать «ask them to repeat their names». Завершите ответ конкретным способом запоминания.
Exemplo: Yes, especially when I meet several people at once. I may ask them to repeat their names, but after I’ve known someone for a while, I make an effort to remember and use their name in conversation.
× Usually I easily can remember and later recognize someone's face.
✓ Usually, I can easily remember and later recognize someone's face.
In a neutral sentence, the adverb easily usually comes after the modal verb can and before the main verb. Place adverbs in this position to make the sentence sound natural.
× Usually I easily can remember and later recognize someone's face but names especially in a big company it's like new information that they have to know, but it's hard.
✓ Usually, I can easily remember and later recognize someone's face, but remembering names, especially in a large company, is difficult because they are new information that I have to learn.
The original sentence joins ideas in a confusing way: names are compared with information, but the pronoun they does not clearly refer to the people who need to know it. Make the subject of the second part explicit and use a pronoun with a clear reference.
× Usually I'm asking several times and repeat their name when I try to talk with this person.
✓ Usually, I ask several times and repeat their name when I try to talk with this person.
The present continuous I'm asking is generally used for an action happening now or around now. For a repeated habit indicated by usually, use the simple present: I ask. Keep both coordinated verbs in the same form: ask and repeat.
× Sometimes after introducing I can ask my friends...
✓ Sometimes, after being introduced, I can ask my friends...
The speaker means that someone introduces them. Use the passive form being introduced because the speaker receives the action; introducing would mean that the speaker introduces someone else.
× I think for first meeting it's absolutely okay...
✓ I think that for a first meeting, it's absolutely okay...
The singular countable noun meeting needs an article. Use a before first meeting when referring to one such meeting in general.
× ...and we communicate long time.
✓ ...and we have been communicating for a long time.
Use for to express the duration of an activity. The phrase a long time also needs the article a. The present perfect continuous is appropriate for an activity that has continued over a period of time.
× ...but if it's already not our first meeting and we communicate long time. It's really unpleasant like someone just don't remember me, not only my name.
✓ ...but if it's no longer our first meeting and we have been communicating for a long time, it's really unpleasant when someone doesn't remember me, not just my name.
The original separates an if-clause from its main clause with a full stop, leaving the conditional thought incomplete. Join the condition and its result in one sentence. Use when to introduce the situation being described.
× ...someone just don't remember me...
✓ ...someone just doesn't remember me...
Someone is a singular subject, so it takes the singular auxiliary does, not do. In a negative present-simple sentence, use doesn't plus the base form remember.
× In the first meeting yes, I can ask several times...
✓ At the first meeting, yes, I can ask several times...
Use at when referring to a particular event or occasion, such as a meeting. In is not the natural preposition for this meaning.
× In the first meeting yes, I can ask several times to repeat their names...
✓ At the first meeting, yes, I can ask people several times to repeat their names...
In this construction, ask needs to identify the person being asked. Add people as the object of ask before the infinitive phrase to repeat their names.
× ...but after we communicate some proper time...
✓ ...but after we communicate for some time...
Use for before a phrase that expresses how long an activity lasts. For example, say communicate for some time.
