× Hong Kong is a city that have different kind of cuisine like Japanese food, British style fish and chips food and a lot.
✓ Hong Kong is a city that has different kinds of cuisine like Japanese food, British-style fish and chips, and many more.
此外,“different kind of cuisine”应改为复数形式“different kinds of cuisine”;“a lot”在此处不够完整,应改为“many more”或“and many others”。
× When I were young, I am big fans of junk food.
✓ When I was young, I was a big fan of junk food.
时间状语“When I was young”表明需要使用过去时态;原句用“were”与“I”不匹配,应为“was”。此外“I am big fans”主谓数不一致且时态错误,应改为过去时“was a big fan”。
× When I were young, I am big fans of junk food.
✓ When I was young, I was a big fan of junk food.
× I understand that it is really unhealthy when I grow older.
✓ I understood that it was really unhealthy as I grew older.
句中叙述与上下文(过去的童年)一致,应使用过去时“understood/was…as I grew older”。原句使用现在时“understand/it is/when I grow”与前文的过去时间矛盾。
× But you know, fried food is really attractive for young girls because it is crisp, they are crispy and juicy.
✓ But you know, fried food is really appealing to young people because it is crispy and juicy.
原句中“attractive for young girls”在语义上不太自然,且“it is crisp, they are crispy”在指代和形容词形式上重复且混乱。
× If I had to work all year or study all day I would just have a quick lunch and eat the same types of food.
✓ If I have to work all year or study all day, I would just have a quick lunch and eat the same types of food.
原句用“If I had to…” 与“would”或更自然的“If I have to…, I just have…” 。
× But if I have a chance to go to visit other countries, I definitely would taste their local dish.
✓ But if I have a chance to visit other countries, I will definitely try their local dishes.
原句中“go to visit”啰嗦,且“would”与真实将来可能性不匹配,应使用“will”。
× Yes, my favorite food change a lot, no matter I were a child or when I grow older because I am not a fix either.
✓ Yes, my favourite food changed a lot, whether I was a child or as I grew older, because I am not fixed on one thing.
原句“change a lot”时态应为过去“changed”与后文一致;“no matter I were a child or when I grow older”语序与时态错误,应改为“whether I was a child or as I grew older”。“I am not a fix either”表达错误,应改为“I am not fixed on one thing”。
× I'm not just focusing on eating certain types of cuisine.
✓ I'm not just focused on eating certain types of cuisine.
× I would taste a lot of delicious food and I keep changing.
✓ I would taste a lot of delicious food and I kept changing.
