Opportunities— Part 1

No, I didn’t have many opportunities to try new activities as a child. My parents were quite busy, so I usually stayed at home and played with my toys. For example, I rarely joined sports clubs or school trips.

Yes, I think people should try a variety of things because this helps them discover their interests and strengths. However, they should avoid activities that are unsafe or completely unsuitable for them. For example, trying a new sport or learning a language can build confidence.

× No, I didn't know how to take part in new countries as a trade. becomes Become

✓ No, I didn't know how to take part in new activities as a child.

原句中的“take part in new countries as a trade”结构和语义都不完整，不能清楚表达“参加新活动”。根据问题中的“as a child”，应使用“take part in new activities as a child”。 建议使用“take part in + 活动”这一结构，例如：take part in sports activities。

× Yes, but become I don't trust

✓ Yes, but I don't trust them.

I don't trust them.
