Part 1

試験官

Do you have a favorite teacher?

受験者

No, I don't really have a favorite teacher because there are so many teachers who are good at different things. I cannot choose one particular teacher. I have learned few and I admire few of their qualities from each of many of my teachers.

試験官

Do you want to be a teacher in the future?

受験者

Honestly, no, I do not want to be a teacher in the future because I don't think that I have that level of patience and understanding to teach all the students equally and help them understand. Maybe I can do a one-on-one, but a group of students I don't think I can.

試験官

Do you have a teacher from your past that you still remember?

受験者

Of course I remember my teacher. In fact I remember many of my teachers. I remember my chemistry Sir who used to teach us chemistry in such a good way that I still remember his words saying you will forget the basic things and any other teachers like my English teacher, Hindi teacher.

試験官

Are you still in touch with your primary school teachers?

受験者

Oh yes, I am in touch with few of my school teachers, not very often though, but I speak to them like once a year, usually on their birthdays or some special occasions and keep them updated about my life etcetera.

試験官

In what way has your favourite teacher helped you?

受験者

In every stages of my life, I have had a few favorite teachers and I have learned quite a few things. From my chemistry teacher. I have learned to be very grounded. Even though any amount of knowledge you consume, you have to be grounded and there is still more to learn. And my Hindi teacher who was very disciplined.

試験官

Do you like your primary school teachers more than your high school teachers?

受験者

Actually, I like my high school teachers more than my primary school teachers though my primary school teachers have a lot of effort in taking care of me but I have not had good memories with them but they were good too. It's just my personal opinion.

Do you have a favorite teacher?

スコア: 74.0

提案: Be more concise and use clearer structure: start with a direct topic sentence, then give one or two specific supporting details with linking words. Avoid repetition and minor grammar slips (e.g., 'I have learned from a few' or 'I admire qualities in many teachers').

: I don't have a single favorite teacher. Instead, I admire different qualities in several teachers; for example, my math teacher was patient and clear, while my history teacher made lessons very engaging. Therefore, I can't choose just one person.

Do you want to be a teacher in the future?

スコア: 80.0

提案: Good direct answer and reason. Improve by tightening sentences and adding a short contrasting idea or brief example to show reflection. Use linking words (because, however) correctly and correct small wording issues ('teach all students equally').

: No, I don't want to be a teacher in the future because I don't feel I have the patience to manage and support a whole class. However, I might consider tutoring one student at a time, since I work better in one-on-one situations.

Do you have a teacher from your past that you still remember?

提案: Answer is enthusiastic but unfocused and has grammar/wording issues. Start with one clear topic sentence naming a specific teacher, then give a concise story or quote with linking words. Avoid vague phrases like 'any other teachers'.

: Yes, I still remember my chemistry teacher very well. He taught clearly and often reminded us, 'Even if you learn a lot, don't forget the basics,' which stuck with me and helped me study effectively.

In what way has your favourite teacher helped you?

スコア: 70.0

提案: Good content ideas but disorganized and has grammar errors. Start with a direct topic sentence about how teachers helped, then give two specific, linked examples with clear explanations. Combine fragments into full sentences.

: My teachers helped me in different ways. For example, my chemistry teacher taught me to stay grounded and keep learning, saying that no matter how much you know there is always more to learn; meanwhile, my Hindi teacher taught me discipline, which improved my study habits.

Do you like your primary school teachers more than your high school teachers?

スコア: 72.0

提案: Response has a clear opinion but is wordy and contains run-on sentences. Provide a concise topic sentence stating your preference, then briefly explain two reasons using linking words (although, because). Avoid contradicting phrases that confuse the listener.

: I prefer my high school teachers to my primary school teachers because I had better academic experiences with them. Although my primary teachers cared for me a lot, I have more positive memories of the lessons and support I received in high school.

文法

Singular and plural issue

× I have learned few and I admire few of their qualities from each of many of my teachers.

I have learned from a few and I admire a few qualities from many of my teachers.

The phrase 'few' used without an article implies almost none; 'a few' means some. Also word order was awkward: 'from many of my teachers' should follow 'qualities' or 'I have learned from a few' clarifies meaning. Use 'a few' for countable plural nouns when meaning some.

Article errors

× I have learned few and I admire few of their qualities from each of many of my teachers.

I have learned from a few and I admire a few qualities from many of my teachers.

Missing article 'a' before 'few' makes the sentence imply scarcity. Adding 'a' corrects the article usage with countable plural noun 'few' to mean 'some'.

Verb in the present participle form

× Maybe I can do a one-on-one, but a group of students I don't think I can.

Maybe I can do one-on-one teaching, but I don't think I can handle a group of students.

The original sentence has awkward structure and missing verb for 'one-on-one'. Use 'teaching' (present participle) to complete the noun phrase and reorder clause for natural English: 'I don't think I can handle a group of students.'

Sentence structure errors

× I remember my chemistry Sir who used to teach us chemistry in such a good way that I still remember his words saying you will forget the basic things and any other teachers like my English teacher, Hindi teacher.

I remember my chemistry teacher who taught us in such a clear way that I still recall his words: 'You will forget the basics'; I also remember other teachers like my English and Hindi teachers.

'Sir' is informal and capitalization is wrong; sentence run-on and unclear. Break into clearer clauses, use 'teacher' and past tense 'taught', and add punctuation to separate quoted advice. List other teachers consistently and include articles.

Incorrect use of pronouns

× Oh yes, I am in touch with few of my school teachers, not very often though, but I speak to them like once a year, usually on their birthdays or some special occasions and keep them updated about my life etcetera.

Oh yes, I am in touch with a few of my school teachers, not very often though; I speak to them about once a year, usually on their birthdays or other special occasions, and keep them updated about my life.

Use 'a few' instead of 'few'. 'Like once a year' is informal and should be 'about once a year'. Replace 'some special occasions' with 'other special occasions' for clarity. Remove 'etcetera' in formal answers.

Present tense issue

× In every stages of my life, I have had a few favorite teachers and I have learned quite a few things. From my chemistry teacher. I have learned to be very grounded.

In every stage of my life, I have had a few favorite teachers and I have learned quite a few things. From my chemistry teacher, I learned to be very grounded.

Use singular 'stage' with 'every'. Also keep tense consistent: use past simple 'learned' to describe what a past teacher taught you. Combine fragments to avoid sentence fragment 'From my chemistry teacher.'

Incorrect use of conjunctions

× Even though any amount of knowledge you consume, you have to be grounded and there is still more to learn.

No matter how much knowledge you gain, you have to stay grounded and remember there is always more to learn.

'Even though' is the wrong conjunction for this context. Use 'No matter how' to express concession. Also adjust verb forms: 'consume' is odd for knowledge; 'gain' or 'learn' fits better.

Sentence structure errors

× And my Hindi teacher who was very disciplined.

My Hindi teacher was also very disciplined.

Original is a sentence fragment starting with 'And' and lacks a main verb. Remove 'And' and use full clause: 'My Hindi teacher was also very disciplined.'

Incorrect use of pronouns

× Actually, I like my high school teachers more than my primary school teachers though my primary school teachers have a lot of effort in taking care of me but I have not had good memories with them but they were good too.

Actually, I like my high school teachers more than my primary school teachers, although my primary teachers put a lot of effort into taking care of me; I don't have many good memories with them, but they were good too.

'Have a lot of effort in taking care of me' is ungrammatical; use 'put a lot of effort into taking care of me'. Replace 'though' with 'although' and correct tense and clarity: 'I don't have many good memories' instead of 'I have not had good memories'. Use semicolon or commas to avoid run-on sentence.
