Is it a good place to study?
Candidato
I am proud to say that the college I attended is a great place to study. Although it's a public institution, it rivals many well known private colleges in the Philippines because of its its high teaching standards and comprehensive student support services such as the tutoring and career counseling. And the professors are genuinely committed.

Would you like the place where you study to make any changes?
Candidato
If I could change something, I would like them to add more establishment such as quiet study areas where students can work during their breaks because it's hard to concentrate in noisy corridors. I also like to have a cafeteria or eating area inside the campus.

What are your future study plans?
Candidato
Actually, I am starting my masters degree this semester, so I am picking up public administration. So I am focusing on policy formulation and administrative law because I am a government employee and I want to apply it to to our office and improve the procedures.
Do you work or are you a student?
Puntuación: 68.0Sugerencia: Make the answer more concise and natural: start with a direct topic sentence (I work), then give brief relevant detail (job length and employer type). Avoid redundant phrases and small grammar errors (e.g. “working for a government” → “working for the government”).
Ejemplo: I work for the government and have been employed there for ten years. I completed my bachelor’s degree at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Manila.
Where do you study?
Puntuación: 60.0Sugerencia: Use one clear topic sentence stating where you studied, then add concise specific details. Fix repetitions and grammar (e.g. “chemist licensure examination”). Keep to 2–3 sentences and avoid repeating “I studied.”
Ejemplo: I completed my bachelor’s degree at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Santa Mesa, Manila. I earned a BSc in Chemistry and graduated in 2012, and I also passed the chemist licensure examination that year.

Puntuación: 72.0Sugerencia: Answer directly with one or two specific improvements, and use clear linking language (e.g. “because” and “also”). Fix word choice (e.g. “establishment” → “facilities”) and grammar (e.g. “I would like them to add more facilities, such as quiet study areas”).
Ejemplo: I would add more facilities, such as quiet study areas where students can concentrate because corridors are often noisy. I would also like a cafeteria on campus so students have a comfortable place to eat between classes.
What are your future study plans?
Puntuación: 74.0Sugerencia: Give a clear topic sentence about your plans, then explain specific subjects and the reason. Remove filler words like “actually” and avoid repeating words. Use concise linking (e.g. “because” / “so that”).

× Currently, I am already an employee and working for a government for 10 years, but I graduated my bachelor's degree in Polytechnic University of the Philippines, a State University located in Manila.
✓ Currently, I am an employee and have been working for the government for 10 years, and I graduated with my bachelor's degree from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, a state university located in Manila.
Tense and verb form errors: 'am already an employee and working for a government for 10 years' mixes present simple with a duration that requires present perfect continuous or present perfect. Use 'have been working' for an action that started in the past and continues to the present. 'a government' is incorrect article usage; use 'the government' for a specific employer. 'graduated my bachelor's degree' is incorrect collocation; use 'graduated with my bachelor's degree' and 'from' for the institution. Also use lowercase 'state university' unless it is part of the official name. Suggestion: use present perfect continuous for ongoing actions and correct prepositions with 'graduate'.
× I studied my bachelor's degree in Polytechnic University of the Philippines that is located in Santa Mesa, Manila.
✓ I studied for my bachelor's degree at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, which is located in Santa Mesa, Manila.
Preposition and clause use: use 'studied for my bachelor's degree' or 'studied my bachelor's degree' is informal; 'at' is the correct preposition for institutions. 'that is located' is better as 'which is located' for non-restrictive clause. Suggestion: use 'studied for' + 'at' and choose appropriate relative pronoun.
× I studied Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and graduated in 2012.
✓ I studied for a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and graduated in 2012.
Article and collocation: include the article 'a' before degree names and use 'studied for a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry' to indicate the program. Suggestion: include appropriate articles when naming degrees.
× I also passed the chemist lesson sure examination in that year also.
✓ I also passed the chemist licensure examination that year.
Incorrect word choice and redundancy: 'lesson sure' is a mistaken form of 'licensure' and 'in that year also' is redundant with 'also' and awkward. Use 'that year' or 'in that year' but not both with 'also'. Suggestion: use correct term 'licensure examination' and avoid redundant words.
× Although it's a public institution, it rivals many well known private colleges in the Philippines because of its its high teaching standards and comprehensive student support services such as the tutoring and career counseling.
✓ Although it's a public institution, it rivals many well-known private colleges in the Philippines because of its high teaching standards and comprehensive student support services such as tutoring and career counseling.
Article and word choice errors: remove duplicate 'its its'. 'well known' should be hyphenated 'well-known' when used before a noun. 'the tutoring' and 'the career counseling' are unnecessarily specific; use 'tutoring and career counseling' without 'the'. Suggestion: remove duplicates, hyphenate compound adjectives, and drop unnecessary definite articles.
× And the professors are genuinely committed.
✓ The professors are genuinely committed.
Sentence fragment/style: beginning a sentence with 'And' is informal and unnecessary; remove 'And' to improve formality and flow. Suggestion: avoid starting sentences with coordinating conjunctions in formal speech.
× If I could change something, I would like them to add more establishment such as quiet study areas where students can work during their breaks because it's hard to concentrate in noisy corridors.
✓ If I could change something, I would like them to add more facilities, such as quiet study areas where students can work during their breaks, because it's hard to concentrate in noisy corridors.
Word choice and countability: 'establishment' is the wrong word here; use 'facilities' or 'establishments' depending on meaning. 'More establishment' is ungrammatical; 'more facilities' fits context. Also add commas for clarity. Suggestion: use 'facilities' for campus features and ensure correct pluralization.
× I also like to have a cafeteria or eating area inside the campus.
✓ I would also like to have a cafeteria or an eating area on campus.
Modal and article use: 'I also like to have' is awkward for a wish — 'I would also like' is more appropriate. Use 'a' before 'eating area' and 'on campus' is the common prepositional phrase, not 'inside the campus'. Suggestion: use conditional/modal 'would like' for preferences and correct articles and prepositions.
× Actually, I am starting my masters degree this semester, so I am picking up public administration.
✓ Actually, I am starting my master's degree this semester, so I am studying public administration.
Form and word choice: 'masters' needs an apostrophe as 'master's degree'. 'Picking up' is informal and vague; use 'studying' or 'pursuing' to describe an academic program. Suggestion: use 'master's degree' and verbs like 'studying' or 'pursuing' in academic contexts.
× So I am focusing on policy formulation and administrative law because I am a government employee and I want to apply it to to our office and improve the procedures.
✓ So I am focusing on policy formulation and administrative law because I am a government employee and I want to apply them in our office to improve procedures.
Pronoun and preposition agreement: 'apply it to to our office' has a duplicated 'to' and wrong pronoun 'it' for plural 'policy formulation and administrative law' — use 'them'. Use 'apply in our office' or 'apply to our office' but better 'apply them in our office'. Also 'the procedures' can be simplified to 'procedures'. Suggestion: ensure pronoun number matches antecedents, remove duplication, and choose the correct preposition.
