Bike— Part 1 Report

Suggestion: Ответьте прямо и используйте естественную конструкцию: «I had a bike», а не «I did a bike». Избегайте обрывочных фраз вроде «Then. A child». Добавьте одну конкретную деталь — например, где вы катались или как часто пользовались велосипедом.

Example: Yes, I had a bike when I was a child. I used to ride it around my neighbourhood after school.

Suggestion: Сначала дайте прямой ответ, а затем объясните его связно. После «people» используйте глагол во множественном числе — «like»; кроме того, «sports» здесь звучит естественнее. Уточните, почему велосипеды популярны: например, люди используют их для поездок на работу, занятий спортом или отдыха.

Example: Yes, I think bikes are quite popular in my country. Many people ride them for exercise, and others use them to commute because cycling is convenient and affordable.

× Yes, I did a bike.

✓ Yes, I had a bike.

In this answer, did cannot take a bike as its object. Use had, the past tense of have, to say that you owned a bike.

× Then. A child.

✓ I had a bike when I was a child.

Then and A child are incomplete sentence fragments without a verb. Combine the ideas in a complete sentence with a subject and a verb.

× People likes sport.

✓ People like sport.

People is plural, so it takes the plural verb form like, not likes. Remember to use the base form of the verb with plural subjects.
