Bike— Part 1 Report

Suggestion: Geçmişteki bir deneyim sorulduğu için geçmiş zaman kullanın: “I had”. “And child” bu bağlamda anlamlı değil; bisikletiniz olduğunu ve onunla ne yaptığınızı kısa bir ayrıntıyla açıklayın.

Example: Yes, I had a bike when I was a child. I used to ride it around my neighborhood after school.

Suggestion: Soruyu doğrudan yanıtlayın ve özne-fiil yapısını tamamlayın: “I think bikes are popular in my country.” Ardından nedenini veya kullanımına dair belirli bir örneği “because” ya da “for example” ile ekleyin.

Example: Yes, I think bikes are quite popular in my country because they’re an affordable way to get around. For example, many people use them for short trips.

× Yes, I have a bike and child.

✓ Yes, I had a bike when I was a child.

The question asks about a past period, so use the past-tense verb had rather than the present-tense have. Use when I was a child to express the time clearly.

× Yes, I have a bike and child.

✓ Yes, I had a bike when I was a child.

The phrase and child does not form a clear or grammatical part of the sentence. Use when I was a child to explain when you had the bike.

× Yeah, I think is popular my country like.

✓ Yeah, I think bikes are popular in my country.

The clause after think needs a subject: bikes. The word like does not fit at the end of this sentence, so omit it.

× Yeah, I think is popular my country like.

✓ Yeah, I think bikes are popular in my country.

Use the preposition in before my country to indicate where bikes are popular.
