Part 1

Did you like going to parks as a child?

Score: 78.0

Suggestion: Cần rút gọn và chỉnh câu để tự nhiên hơn, tránh lặp từ và tiếng ồm ồm (umm). Dùng một câu chủ đề rõ ràng rồi thêm 1–2 chi tiết cụ thể với liên từ hợp lý. Chú ý ngữ pháp (a very imaginative activity thay vì activities) và thứ tự các sự kiện để mạch lạc hơn.

Example: Yes. I went to the park with my sister almost every day when I was a child. We used to collect branches and leaves to build a small shelter for bees, and I remember returning later to find real bees on it, which felt magical.

Do you still like going to parks now?

Score: 60.0

Suggestion: Câu trả lời thiếu rõ ràng và có lỗi diễn đạt (ví dụ 'we sometimes rarely' mâu thuẫn). Tránh dùng từ lặp và sửa cấu trúc câu để rõ nghĩa. Nên có câu chủ đề ngắn, rồi giải thích bằng một hoặc hai chi tiết cụ thể, dùng liên từ như 'however' hoặc 'so' đúng chỗ.

Example: Not really — I'm usually quite lazy so I rarely visit parks. However, my sister and I often grab food nearby in the afternoons, and if we have time we sometimes take a short walk in the park next to the restaurant.

Would you like to see more parks in your city?

Score: 72.0

Suggestion: Ý chính rõ nhưng có lỗi ngữ pháp và cách diễn đạt ('means thing the city go in to') khiến câu kém tự nhiên. Dùng một câu chủ đề mạnh mẽ rồi giải thích ngắn gọn với lý do cụ thể, kèm liên từ phù hợp. Thêm ví dụ cụ thể về lợi ích của công viên để làm câu trả lời thuyết phục hơn.

Example: Yes, definitely. More parks would make the city more environmentally friendly and improve residents' quality of life. For example, parks reduce air pollution and provide green spaces for relaxation and community activities.

Are there any parks you want to go to in the future?

Score: 75.0

Suggestion: Ý tưởng rõ ràng và thú vị nhưng cần sửa lỗi ngữ pháp (a fashion student, remove 'umm') và rút gọn để tự nhiên hơn. Bắt đầu bằng câu chủ đề cùng lí do cụ thể, sau đó nêu chi tiết về kế hoạch (ví dụ phong cách chụp, thời điểm).

Example: I'm planning to visit Huiping Park to do a fashion photoshoot rather than to exercise. As a fashion student, I want to photograph my designs against the park's beautiful scenery, especially during golden hour to capture soft, warm light.

Grammar

Past tense issue

× I remember collecting branches and leaves to create this kind of little shelter for bees.

✓ I remember collecting branches and leaves to create this kind of little shelter for bees.

No change needed; sentence correctly uses past tense 'remember' with past participle action 'collecting' to refer to a past habit. However, consider using 'a little shelter' instead of 'this kind of little shelter' for conciseness.

Present tense issue

× And I also remembered, umm, coming back to that place, seeing bees actually on the shelter.

✓ And I also remember coming back to that place and seeing bees actually on the shelter.

Use present tense 'remember' when discussing a memory in a narrative context where the speaker still holds the memory. 'Remembered' implies a past perspective; simple present 'remember' is more natural. Also replace comma with 'and' to join actions. Suggestion: Use 'I also remember coming back to that place and seeing bees on the shelter.'

Subject-verb agreement errors

× So it was a very imaginative activities.

✓ So it was a very imaginative activity.

Subject-verb agreement and count noun form: 'a' requires singular noun 'activity'. 'Activities' is plural and conflicts with the singular article 'a'. Remove 'a' or change to singular noun. Suggestion: Use 'a very imaginative activity' or 'very imaginative activities' depending on intended meaning.

Incorrect use of pronouns

× However me and my sister, we usually go for some food in the afternoon and the park is right next to it, so if you have time we sometimes rarely go there to take a walk away having it out.

✓ However, my sister and I usually go for some food in the afternoon and the park is right next to it, so if we have time we sometimes go there to take a walk after eating.

Pronoun order and case: 'me and my sister' should be 'my sister and I' when the phrase is the subject. Replace 'you have time' with 'we have time' to agree with subject. 'Sometimes rarely' is contradictory; choose one—'sometimes' used here. 'Take a walk away having it out' is ungrammatical; 'take a walk after eating' conveys intended meaning. Suggestion: Use correct subject pronoun order 'my sister and I' and ensure pronoun agreement and clear adverb choice.

Verb in the present participle form

× Oh of course, I think seeing more parks means thing the city go in to the more environmentally friendly and sustainable direction.

✓ Oh of course, I think seeing more parks means the city is going in a more environmentally friendly and sustainable direction.

Incorrect verb form and word order: 'means thing the city go in to the' is ungrammatical. Use 'means' followed by a clause with subject and verb: 'the city is going in a more... direction.' Use present continuous 'is going' to indicate a developing trend. Remove 'thing'. Suggestion: 'means the city is moving in a more environmentally friendly and sustainable direction.'

Present tense issue

× So of course I enjoy seeing more parks pop up in the city.

✓ So of course I enjoy seeing more parks pop up in the city.

Sentence is grammatically correct. Present tense 'enjoy' fits ongoing preference. No change needed.

Future tense issue

× Well, I'm planning to go to the Huiping Park, not actually for walking or doing exercise like most people do, but to take a fashion photoshoot there because I'm currently a fashion students and I really want to put umm my design in that environment because it is very beautiful.

✓ Well, I'm planning to go to Huiping Park, not actually for walking or exercise like most people, but to do a fashion photoshoot there because I'm currently a fashion student and I really want to showcase my designs in that environment because it is very beautiful.

Multiple issues: article and noun number: 'the Huiping Park' is unnecessary; 'Huiping Park' is fine. 'Doing exercise' can be shortened to 'exercise'. 'Fashion students' should be singular 'fashion student' to match 'I'm'. 'Put... my design in that environment' is awkward; use 'showcase my designs' or 'display my designs'. Maintain future plan with present continuous 'I'm planning'. Suggestion: Use singular 'student' and clearer verb 'do a photoshoot' or 'have a photoshoot' and 'showcase my designs'.
