However, recently I have been handwriting more for notes, because writing by hand helps me remember information better. For example, when I write lecture notes by hand I stay more focused and recall details later more easily.

× It don't remember specific moments, it feels like something he picked up gradually over time.
✓ I don't remember specific moments; it feels like something I picked up gradually over time.
2) 后半句用“he picked up”而前文指代对象为说话者,应使用“I picked up”。建议替换为“I don't remember... I picked up...”
× When I was a kid online chatting was already very common so I spent a lot of time typing messages to friend on my laptop.
✓ When I was a kid, online chatting was already very common, so I spent a lot of time typing messages to friends on my laptop.
× So looking back it was very much a learning as you go kind of thing.
✓ So, looking back, it was very much a 'learning-as-you-go' kind of thing.
× Most of my improvement they comes from daily use.
✓ Most of my improvement comes from daily use.
正确做法是直接用单数动词“comes”与主语“Most of my improvement”一致,去掉“they”。
× So for me it's something that improves naturally as part of my work and.
✓ So for me it's something that improves naturally as part of my work.
