Do you use headphones?
Score: 68.0Suggestion: Make the answer more concise and natural: state the main idea first, remove fillers (uh), and add a brief reason with a linking word. Use one or two supporting details only.
Example: Yes, I often wear headphones when I'm out. I use them mainly to avoid being disturbed and to answer calls privately, especially in crowded places.
What type of headphones do you use?
Score: 72.0Suggestion: Give a clear topic sentence then add one or two specific reasons with linking words. Correct small grammar issues (preferably -> I prefer; Apple company -> Apple).
Example: I prefer Apple AirPods. They provide clear sound quality and are comfortable to wear, so I can listen to music or take calls while travelling.
When would you use headphones?
Score: 60.0Suggestion: Avoid repetition and hesitations, and organise the response: start with the main situation, then add another frequent situation using a linking word. Fix grammar (I I, pref) and keep it within 3–4 sentences.
Example: I usually use headphones when I'm travelling with friends or family. I also put them on when I need to take calls from work or chat with friends, because they help me hear better in noisy places.
In what conditions would you not use headphones?
Score: 65.0Suggestion: Answer directly and give specific reasons. Use linking words to contrast (however, but) and correct article use (a headphones -> headphones).
Example: I usually don't wear headphones at home or at work. Instead, I keep them off because I need to be ready to take important calls or talk to people nearby.
Is wearing headphones comfortable?
Score: 55.0Suggestion: Start with a clear opinion, then provide one concise reason and a contrasting point. Avoid long conditional errors and filler words; use correct grammar (they may have hearing problems).
Example: I find headphones comfortable for short periods because they fit well and block noise. However, if people use them too often or at high volume, they may develop hearing problems.
× 'During my outside journey, I prefer to wear headphones because in public places I use headphones so that, uh, nobody could disturb whenever I receive a call from someone.'
✓ 'During my journeys outside, I prefer to wear headphones because in public places I use them so that nobody can disturb me when I receive a call.'
'Subject-verb agreement and sentence structure: "my outside journey" is awkward and plural is more natural as "my journeys outside" (singular/plural and natural phrasing). Repetition of "headphones" is unnecessary so replace second instance with the pronoun "them" (pronoun use). "could disturb" is incorrect here because you are describing a habitual present action; use modal "can". Also add the object "me" after "disturb" and change "whenever I receive a call from someone" to the shorter "when I receive a call" to improve clarity.'
× 'I preferably use Airpods which is of the Apple company because it gives a good quality of sound as well as it makes me comfortable to listen a music or call during my outside journey.'
✓ 'I usually use AirPods, which are made by Apple, because they give good sound quality and make me comfortable when listening to music or taking calls while travelling.'
'Singular and plural issue' and other errors: "Airpods" should be capitalized as the brand AirPods and treated as plural; therefore use "are" not "is" (subject-verb agreement and plural form). "of the Apple company" is unnatural; use "made by Apple" (preposition/use). "it gives a good quality of sound" should be "they give good sound quality" (pronoun agreement and adjective order). "listen a music or call" is incorrect; idiomatically say "listening to music or taking calls" (verb + -ing and preposition). Also "during my outside journey" is better as "while travelling".'
× 'I spend most of the time using my headphones when I I am travelling outside with my friends or family members.'
✓ 'I spend most of my time using my headphones when I am travelling with friends or family.'
'Present tense/tense usage and sentence structure: "I spend most of the time" is better as "I spend most of my time" (natural collocation). Remove the duplicated "I". "travelling outside" is redundant; "travelling" suffices. "friends or family members" can be shortened to "friends or family" for naturalness.'
× 'Along with this I pref I use headphones when I have to receive a call from my workplace or for my with my friends.'
✓ 'I also use headphones when I need to receive calls from work or when speaking with friends.'
'Sentence structure errors: The original is fragmented and contains typos ("pref I", "for my with my friends"). Use "I also use headphones" to connect ideas, "need to receive calls from work" for clarity, and "speaking with friends" for natural phrasing.'
× 'I prefer to not use a headphones when I am at my home and at my workplace because I have to take some important calls at the moment.'
✓ 'I prefer not to use headphones when I am at home or at work because I sometimes need to take important calls.'
'Article errors' and other issues: "a headphones" is incorrect; "headphones" is plural and does not take "a". "prefer to not" is less natural than "prefer not to" (adverb placement). "at my home and at my workplace" is wordy; "at home or at work" is more natural. "because I have to take some important calls at the moment" mixes present continuous context; change to "because I sometimes need to take important calls" for general statement.'
× 'In my opinion, wearing headphones is comfortable as well as it uh becomes difficult for the persons.'
✓ 'In my opinion, wearing headphones is comfortable, but it can become difficult for some people.'
'Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs and sentence structure: "as well as it uh becomes difficult for the persons" is ungrammatical and awkward. Use a contrastive conjunction "but". "the persons" is unnatural; use "some people". Add modal "can" to show possibility.'
× 'If they usually uh operate the headphones regular basis, they will be have a hearing problems which might cause difficulty.'
✓ 'If they regularly use headphones, they may develop hearing problems that could cause difficulties.'
'Past tense/tense and other issues: "usually uh operate the headphones regular basis" has adverb and word order errors; use "regularly use headphones". "will be have a hearing problems" is ungrammatical; use "may develop hearing problems" to show possibility. "a hearing problems" mixes singular/plural; use "hearing problems". "which might cause difficulty" becomes "that could cause difficulties" for correctness and fluency.'
