Conversation

Part 1

Examiner

Do you have a favorite teacher?

Candidate

Yes definitely. My favorite teacher was probably my high school Chinese teacher. She was super funny and never made the class feel serious and I still remember that she used to share some shows like friends to us and then it really increased our curiosity in.

Examiner

Do you want to be a teacher in the future?

Candidate

To be honest, I'm not sure about that. On one hand, I think it is really rewarding when I have people understand some difficult knowledge, but on the other hand I'm not sure about that I have enough patient to treat them because I think it is really difficult to teach them about some rules.

Examiner

Do you have a teacher from your past that you still remember?

Candidate

Yes, I still remember a lot of teachers. One of them I still remember is my Chinese teacher in my high school at the time. She always support me to do a lot of presentation and then I get a very high grades in Chinese. So I really grateful to her.

Examiner

Are you still in touch with your primary school teachers?

Candidate

Not really, it's been too long and I have moved to different cities since then. I hope that I can meet them one day because I think maybe they will surprise my changes.

Examiner

In what way has your favourite teacher helped you?

Candidate

Well, I think she mainly helped me to become more confidence. Back then I was a kind of shry eye and very worious about how to speak in English in front of people. But she always, uh, encouraged me and helped me to correct the pronunciation and then now I can speak English.

Examiner

Do you like your primary school teachers more than your high school teachers?

Candidate

That's freaky to compare it with that. I think they have a different meanings for me. For my primary school teacher, they teach me how to grow up confidently and healthily. But for my high school teacher, they teach me a lot of knowledge about some perfections.

Overall: 6.0Fluency & Coherence: 6.0Pronunciation: 6.0Grammar: 6.0Lexical Resource: 6.0

Part 1

Do you have a favorite teacher?

Score: 72.0

Suggestion: 回答自然但有语法和表达错误,信息有些冗长且句子衔接不够清晰。建议:1) 开头用一句明确的主题句(例如:"Yes, my favourite teacher was my high school Chinese teacher.")。2) 用一到两个简洁的支持句,注意时态和冠词、介词用法(如"shows like Friends",大写和介词)。3) 使用连接词使叙述更连贯(例如:"because"、"so"、"for example")。4) 控制在最多五句话内并避免重复。具体纠错:把"increased our curiosity in"改为"increased our interest in the language/culture."

Example: Yes, my favourite teacher was my high school Chinese teacher. She was very funny and made lessons relaxed, which helped us enjoy learning. For example, she showed us TV shows like Friends to explain everyday expressions, so we became more interested in Chinese language and culture.

Do you want to be a teacher in the future?

Score: 65.0

Suggestion: 表达有逻辑但语法和词汇错误较多,影响清晰度。建议:1) 用更自然的对比结构("On one hand... On the other hand...")并注意词形("patient"应为"patience")。2) 用更准确的动词搭配(不是"have people understand",可说"help people understand";不是"treat them",用"teach them")。3) 精简句子,避免重复并明确原因。

Example: To be honest, I'm not sure. On one hand, teaching seems rewarding because I could help people understand difficult concepts. On the other hand, I'm worried I might not have enough patience to teach, especially when explaining complicated rules.

Do you have a teacher from your past that you still remember?

Score: 68.0

Suggestion: 回答信息重复且有语法错误,时态和动词形式需改正。建议:1) 开头直接回应并引入具体例子,避免重复(不用两次说"I still remember")。2) 注意动词形式("support"应为"supported","do a lot of presentations","I got very high grades")。3) 用连接词使因果关系明确(例如:"because"或"so")。

Example: Yes, I clearly remember my high school Chinese teacher. She supported me to give many presentations, and because of her guidance I got very high grades in Chinese, so I'm really grateful to her.

Are you still in touch with your primary school teachers?

Score: 75.0

Suggestion: 回答简洁且能传达意思,但句子可更自然、用词更准确。建议:1) 将句子合并为更流畅的陈述(例如:"I haven't kept in touch because...")。2) 修正表达如"surprise my changes"为"be surprised by how I've changed"或"see how I've changed"。3) 控制句子数并加连接词。

Example: Not really, I haven't kept in touch because I've moved to different cities. I hope to meet them one day because they might be surprised to see how much I've changed.

In what way has your favourite teacher helped you?

Score: 66.0

Suggestion: 内容具体但有多处拼写和语法错误,语音停顿(uh)不宜出现在书面回答。建议:1) 纠正词汇拼写("confidence"不是"confident"在这个句型中应为"confident"或"more confident"),"shry eye"应为"shy","worious"应为"worried")。2) 使用更自然的句型并减少口头停顿,如把多个短句合并并用连接词说明过程和结果("because"、"so")。3) 提供更具体例子(例如:她怎样鼓励、用了哪些练习)。

Example: She mainly helped me become more confident. I used to be very shy and worried about speaking English in front of others, but she encouraged me and gave me pronunciation practice, so now I feel comfortable speaking English.

Do you like your primary school teachers more than your high school teachers?

Score: 60.0

Suggestion: 表达不够自然且有用词和语法错误,比较句式不准确。建议:1) 使用更自然的比较表达,如"It's hard to compare"或"They mean different things to me."2) 注意单复数和搭配("primary school teachers"和"my primary school teacher"一致,"teach me how to grow up confidently and healthily"可改为"helped me grow in confidence and healthily")。3) 改正模糊或错误的词汇("perfections"不合适,可用"academic knowledge"或"subject knowledge")。

Example: It's hard to compare because they mean different things to me. My primary school teachers helped me grow in confidence and taught me good habits, while my high school teachers focused more on academic knowledge and exam skills.

Grammar

8: Verb + -ing form

× She was super funny and never made the class feel serious and I still remember that she used to share some shows like friends to us and then it really increased our curiosity in.

She was super funny and never made the class feel serious, and I still remember that she used to show us TV shows like Friends, which really increased our curiosity.

原句中“used to share some shows like friends to us”用法不自然。動詞“share”不常接“shows to someone”來表達“给我们看节目”,更自然的表達是“show us TV shows”。此外“Friends”應大寫並作為節目名稱;句子結構也需調整以清楚表達結果(使用“which”引導非限制性定語從句)。建議使用“show us TV shows like Friends, which really increased our curiosity.”

4: Modal verb usage

× On one hand, I think it is really rewarding when I have people understand some difficult knowledge, but on the other hand I'm not sure about that I have enough patient to treat them because I think it is really difficult to teach them about some rules.

On one hand, I think it is really rewarding when people understand difficult concepts, but on the other hand I'm not sure that I have enough patience to teach them, because I think it is really difficult to explain some rules.

原句多處錯誤:"have people understand" 語序不自然,應為“people understand”或“when I can help people understand”。"patient" 是形容詞,名詞應為 "patience"。"treat them" 用詞不當,談教師職責應用“teach them”。此外“some difficult knowledge”更自然為“difficult concepts”或“difficult knowledge”不加“some”。建議把句子簡化並修正名詞與動詞搭配。

2: Third person singular issue

× She always support me to do a lot of presentation and then I get a very high grades in Chinese.

She always supported me to give a lot of presentations, and then I got very high grades in Chinese.

原句時態與主謂一致錯誤:因為描述過去教師行為,動詞應用過去式“supported”。此外“support”第三人稱單數過去式或一般過去都用“supported”。“do a lot of presentation”不正確,應為“give a lot of presentations”或“do many presentations”。“a very high grades”中“a”與複數“grades”不搭配,應為“very high grades”或“a very high grade”。建議注意時態一致與可數名詞單複數匹配。

22: Article errors

× Not really, it's been too long and I have moved to different cities since then. I hope that I can meet them one day because I think maybe they will surprise my changes.

Not really, it's been too long and I have moved to different cities since then. I hope that I can meet them one day because I think they might be surprised by my changes.

原句中“they will surprise my changes”語序與介詞使用錯誤。正確表達應為“they might be surprised by my changes”或“they might be surprised at how I've changed”。注意使用被動結構和介詞“by/at”來標示使動者或原因。另“maybe”與“will”搭配語氣混亂,改用“might”更合適。

13: Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs

× Well, I think she mainly helped me to become more confidence.

Well, I think she mainly helped me to become more confident.

“confidence”是名詞,句中需用形容詞修飾主語的狀態,應使用“confident”。建議區分名詞與形容詞的用法:用形容詞描述人如何(be + 形容詞)。

11: Incorrect use of prepositions

× Back then I was a kind of shry eye and very worious about how to speak in English in front of people.

Back then I was a kind of shy and very worried about how to speak English in front of people.

原句多處拼寫和介詞錯誤:“shry eye”拼寫錯誤且不合用法,應為“shy”或“a bit shy”。“worious”拼寫錯誤,應為“worried”。短語“speak in English”一般可簡化為“speak English”。建議注意單詞拼寫和固定搭配。

6: Present tense issue

× But she always, uh, encouraged me and helped me to correct the pronunciation and then now I can speak English.

She always encouraged me and helped me correct my pronunciation, and now I can speak English.

句子中時態混用:前半用過去式“encouraged”與“helped”,後半用“then now”表達結果不自然,應直接用“and now I can speak English”。此外“helped me to correct the pronunciation”更自然為“helped me correct my pronunciation”。建議保持時態一致並修正冗餘連詞。

26: Sentence structure errors

× That's freaky to compare it with that.

That's awkward to compare the two,

原句“That's freaky to compare it with that”結構混亂且用詞不當。“freaky”語感不合適,應用“awkward”或“difficult”。指代也不清晰,“it”與“that”應明確為“the two”或“them”。建議使用清晰的代詞或名詞短語並選擇恰當詞彙。

18: Incorrect order of adjectives

× For my primary school teacher, they teach me how to grow up confidently and healthily.

For my primary school teachers, they taught me how to grow up confidently and healthily.

原句中“teacher”單數與後文“they”代詞不一致,且描述過去經驗應用過去式“taught”。此外“grow up confidently and healthily”語序可接受,但需保持主謂一致。建議保持數的一致性與正確時態。

13: Incorrect use of adjectives or adverbs

× But for my high school teacher, they teach me a lot of knowledge about some perfections.

But for my high school teachers, they taught me a lot of knowledge about certain subjects/subjects in depth.

原句“teach me a lot of knowledge”不地道,英文通常說“taught me a lot”或“taught me a lot about ...”。“some perfections”用詞錯誤且不明確,可能想說“more advanced topics”或“specific subjects”。建議使用“taught me a lot about certain subjects”或“taught me advanced knowledge”。
