The word 'chatting' is a gerund and cannot be used with the indefinite article 'a'. Instead, the noun 'chat' should be used here to express a conversation. So, 'a chatting' is incorrect; it should be 'a chat'.
× usually my friends uh, works on weekdays and off on weekends
✓ usually my friends uh, work on weekdays and are off on weekends
The subject 'my friends' is plural, so the verb should be 'work' instead of 'works'. Also, 'off on weekends' needs a verb to be grammatically correct, so 'are off on weekends' is appropriate.
