How do inventors or philosophers come up with new ideas?

Observation and Curiosity
Inventors often come up with new ideas by observing everyday problems and thinking of innovative ways to solve them. It’s their keen eye for detail that helps them identify these issues. Additionally, being open to new experiences and perspectives allows inventors to think outside the box, which is crucial for creativity. This openness often leads to unique solutions that others might not have thought of.
The genesis of invention often lies in the simple act of observation coupled with a deep sense of curiosity. Inventors excel at spotting everyday challenges and conceptualizing innovative solutions to address them. Their ability to observe minutiae and connect the dots is a critical element of their creativity. Moreover, their openness to exploring new experiences and embracing diverse perspectives is vital. It allows them to venture into uncharted territories of thought and possibility, often leading to groundbreaking ideas that redefine our understanding of the world.
Their ability... is a critical element of their creativity"中使用了非限制性定語從句,為句子增添了額外的信息,提高了答案的深度和細節。

Research and Knowledge
Inventors often generate new ideas through extensive research in their specific areas of interest. They delve deeply into their fields, gathering as much information as possible. This research provides a solid foundation for their innovative ideas. Additionally, they learn a lot from past inventions and historical data, which helps them understand what has been done before and how they can improve upon it or take a completely new direction.
The journey of invention is often paved with rigorous research and a profound understanding of the subject. Inventors invest considerable time delving into their chosen fields, absorbing knowledge and staying abreast of the latest developments. This comprehensive research forms the bedrock of their innovative ideas. Furthermore, historical insights gleaned from past inventions offer invaluable lessons, allowing inventors to build upon previous work or to chart new territories in innovation. By standing on the shoulders of giants, they gain the perspective needed to push the boundaries of what's possible.
複雜名詞短語:“rigorous research and a profound understanding of the subject”這個結構是一個複雜的名詞短語,通過結合多個概念來增加答案的深度和複雜性。 非限制性定語從句:“This comprehensive research forms the bedrock of their innovative ideas”中的“which”引導的非限制性定語從句,為句子增添了額外的信息,提高了答案的深度和細節。

Experimentation and Trial and Error
I think inventing something is a process of trial and error. First, you need to find a problem without a good solution. Then, the inventor tries to create a better solution for that problem. After they get a great idea, they start designing their invention. These days, a lot of this work is likely done online using AI, which makes it easier. But about 20 years ago, inventors had to rely on their own ideas without such help.
I imagine that it's by trial and error. To invent something, you need to identify a problem that doesn't have a suitable solution. Once this has been identified, then the inventor can work on a better solution to the problem. After they've had their lightbulb moment, they get to work and design whatever it is they are making. Nowadays, most of this is probably done online using AI as it's easier but around 20 years ago, inventors had to come up with ideas on their own.
