On what occasions can children be forgiven if they don't follow some rules?
Accidental Situations
I believe there are times in a child's life when they're so busy that if they can't stick to all the rules, it's okay to let it slide. In many homes, kids need to help out with family work and chores, but during exam periods, I think it's fine if they relax a little and just focus on their studies. They shouldn't have to worry about getting scolded for not setting the table when they're already studying harder than usual.
Learning and Growth
Kids should be forgiven when they're trying to learn and make mistakes. Like, if they're learning to cook and make a mess, it's part of learning. And if they realize they did something wrong and try to fix it, that's really good. They're learning from their mistakes and that's how they grow.
Special Circumstances
Children can be forgiven for not following rules when they're stressed or in emergencies. Like, if they're upset and forget to do a chore, it's understandable. Also, if something unexpected happens, like a family emergency, it's okay if they don't stick to the usual rules.
