If they were more reliable and on time, that would also make a big difference. Maybe they could use some kind of system to let people track where the bus is in real-time on their phones.

The buses and trains could definitely be more comfortable. Sometimes, they are too hot or too cold, and the seats aren't very nice to sit on for long periods. It would be great if they could make them more modern with better air conditioning and maybe even provide Wi-Fi and places to charge your phone.
