Teaching my cousin to cook
Who you taught
I'm going to talk about the time I taught my younger cousin, Sarah, how to cook. She's always been interested in cooking but never really knew where to start.
What you taught him/her to do
I decided to teach her how to make a simple yet delicious dish—spaghetti carbonara. It's one of my favorites because it's quick, requires few ingredients, and is incredibly tasty.
How easy it was to teach him/her
Teaching Sarah was surprisingly easy. She was very eager to learn and listened attentively to all the instructions I gave her. She was particularly good at following the recipe and timing everything perfectly, which is crucial for a dish like carbonara where the pasta needs to be just right.
Explain how you felt about teaching this friend/relative
I felt really proud and happy about teaching her. It was a wonderful experience to share something I'm passionate about with someone I care about. Seeing her excitement as she cooked and her satisfaction with the final dish was incredibly rewarding. It reminded me of the joy that cooking can bring, not just through the food itself but also through the shared experience of making it.
