× Yes, definitely. It was my after school English teacher back in my primary school on.
✓ Yes, definitely. It was my after-school English teacher from primary school.
“after school”在作形容词应连字符“after-school”;“back in my primary school on”是不正确的表达,应该用“from primary school”或“from my primary school”。
× She was very humorous. He can make the English learning assume very happy experience.
✓ She was very humorous. She made learning English a very enjoyable experience.
此外,动词搭配错误,“make the English learning assume very happy experience”是不自然的表达。应该用“make + 宾语 + 形容词/名词短语”,如“made learning English a very enjoyable experience”。
× Because of him I become more interested in the English and I for many years I think.
✓ Because of him I became more interested in English, and I have been so for many years.
× Not really 'cause I wouldn't choose to be a teacher as my full time or for lifelong career, but I would like to choose to be a part time job like tutoring the students in my universities years.
✓ Not really, because I wouldn't choose to be a teacher full-time or as a lifelong career, but I would like to do it part-time, like tutoring students during my university years.
“choose to be a teacher as my full time”表达冗长且不自然,应改为“be a teacher full-time”。“choose to be a part time job”错误地把人和职业混淆,正确应为“do it part-time”或“work part-time”。同时修正“universities years”为“university years”。建议学习固定搭配:full-time/part-time, do/take a job, during my university years等。
× I think this experience can also push me.
✓ I think this experience can also help me.
若想使用“push”,需接不定式或名词,如“push me to improve”。
× I still remember one of them. I, I, I still remember lots of teachers and one of them that I still remember is that my after school English teacher from my primary school and he was very humorous.
✓ I still remember many of my teachers; one of them is my after-school English teacher from primary school, and he was very humorous.
× He always made the blessings as an enjoyable instead of the borrowing experience, which really helped me to feel relaxed and confident in class.
✓ He always made the lessons enjoyable instead of boring, which really helped me feel relaxed and confident in class.
“made the lessons enjoyable”是正确搭配,且不需“as an”。
× That and thanks to him. Very solid foundation of my English learning and gradually become more interested in learning English and more not only in English but also more languages.
✓ Thanks to him, I built a very solid foundation in English learning and gradually became more interested not only in English but also in other languages.
× Not really in touch with my primary school teachers.
✓ I'm not really in touch with my primary school teachers.
应使用“I'm not really in touch...”
× I have to say I did meet some of them during my high school, but now I haven't kept contact since I was a university student.
✓ I met some of them during high school, but I haven't kept in contact since I was a university student.
“did meet”可简化为一般过去时“met”。“during my high school”应为“during high school”。“haven't kept contact”搭配不当,应为“haven't kept in contact”。
× Maybe because I feel a little bit shamed about myself that I think I'm gonna be not good enough.
✓ Maybe because I feel a little bit ashamed of myself and think I'm not good enough.
形容词形式错误,“shamed”用于被动情形,表达尴尬/羞愧应为“ashamed”;“gonna be not good enough”口语且语序错误,应为“think I'm not good enough”。
× Or maybe just don't have. Too much time for that. I'm very busy with Mercedes.
✓ Or maybe I just don't have enough time for that. I'm very busy with my work at Mercedes.
“don't have. Too much time”应合并为“don't have enough time”。“I'm very busy with Mercedes”意思不清,需补充“my work at Mercedes”。
× My favorite teacher helped me by building a solid foundation of fine English and sparking my interest in this subject.
✓ My favorite teacher helped me by building a solid foundation in English and sparking my interest in the subject.
“a solid foundation of fine English”不自然,改为“a solid foundation in English”。省略“this”或用“the subject”。
× For example, he really made lessons funny by organizing some activities such as the role plays in Halloween, uh, watching English movies, where do some American styles dishes, uh, which really improved my. Confit confidence and learning, you know, listening skills and also I think it's not only about the study but also about study of culture, you know, if you really doing that.
✓ For example, he made lessons fun by organizing activities such as role-plays for Halloween, watching English movies, and doing some American-style activities, which really improved my confidence, listening skills and overall learning. I think it's not only about studying the language but also about learning the culture if you really do those things.
句子冗长且多处用词错误:用“made lessons fun”而非“funny”;“role plays in Halloween”应为“role-plays for Halloween”;“where do some American styles dishes”是无意义片段,改为“doing some American-style activities”;“Confit confidence”为拼写错误,应为“confidence”;动词时态与形式需调整。
× I can't really say one of them is better than the other because they just have the different teaching styles.
✓ I can't really say one of them is better than the other because they just have different teaching styles.
“the different teaching styles”应为“different teaching styles”表示泛指。
× For example, my primary teachers are more supportive and helping me to build it to study the basic skills, while my high school teacher are more strict and more focused on the.
✓ For example, my primary school teachers are more supportive and helped me build basic skills, while my high school teachers were stricter and more focused on exams.
“teacher are”应为“teachers are/were”;句子中“helping me to build it to study the basic skills”是错的结构,改为“helped me build basic skills”。
× I don't think one of them are, you know, I don't think I can pick one that who is better.
✓ I don't think one of them is better; I don't think I can pick one who is better.
“one of them are”应为“one of them is”;“pick one that who is better”重复使用关系词,应为“pick one who is better”或“pick one that is better”。
× I mean, I've always be grateful, be thankful for both of them.
✓ I mean, I've always been grateful and thankful to both of them.
助动词形式错误,“I've always be”应为“I've always been”;介词搭配通常用“grateful to/for”。
